First, obtain hundreds and hundreds of moles. Then, grind up in a giant meat processor. Season by adding lots and lots of salt. Enjoy your fresh guacamole.
Dang, I actually found this with under 100 views for once? Impressive. I like how you said "Fuck you POO" just like he expected. Great stream, Carl! Loved every second of it. :D
Make a level where he stands on a pow through a spike wall, and then put a really hard kaizo trick after that, followed by 100 enemies on screen with one of them having a key. And make them magikoopas. With a hard timer. Let's see him beat that.
I don't even play Mario, but love watching your videos, and so does my toddler cousin. We're brazilian, so it's appropriate as he's still learning english words, except this time at 10:27 he started to imitate you and I got really embarrassed.
my favorite thing about you I think, is that you being as smart as you are, you see these things so analytically. i love watching you break it down and explain the process you see. Because of you I've learned new techniques, like the shell jump. I was able to use it go find some delicious cheese in levels that don't expect certain things being possible. keep doing the great job man :)
Actually my Levels were deleted on accident, and nintendo apologized, but did not give me back my stars. Since then I have re-uploaded them and gained most of my stats back through one screen levels. @brian P Kuhn has no idea what he is talking about
Hey, Thomandy said what I was gonna' say! Man, that's a real confidence boost. I figured out back when I played Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES (so, uh, age . . . 5-7?) that the pattern of bloopers was "toward Mario, but with a random part, too." I think that a good analogy would be to damage calculations in games with random damage variance (so, like, practically all of them): You can calculate your damage output down to the nub, and a blooper can see exactly where Mario is, but one part of the equation is a random number range (both decided by RNG), so you can account for the general range of the result, but the actual damage, like the blooper's direction, is not going to be totally consistent. Figuring that out before I had ever heard of random number generators or anything, looking back at how long ago I did figure it out, and having confirmation from the one-and-only Thomandy, feels pretty awesome, I must say. Not trying to brag; just trying to say that people can derive a lot of joy from being thoughtful.
How do you think Nintendo will make future Mario games since this game has literally revolutionized level design? I hope they'll make the normal difficultly level progression yet have hidden Kaizo/Puzzle levels
As someone who has only caught 2-3 of your streams, I really appreciate the fact that not only you upload these, but you actually go to the effort of cutting them up so they contain the best bits. Thanks.
And so, after losing his mind, Carl held a psychotic, murderous obsession and grudge against moles that lasts to this day. Great job on that troll level too.
Caught the stream you did this on live (FINALLY, after repeatedly remembering the time wrong and my usual notifier not notifying me), had to come watch this anyway because your editing is always hilariously on point.
I couldn't imagine trying to accomplish that! Especially that mole section. And if Poo doesn't change the wriggler section, that looks like its really hard to get the bloopers going in a direction that you can reliably predict..
Been a big fan of this youtube channel for months now, this was the first livestream I actually remembered to get on twitch for! It was an absolute blast watching Carl suffer to Poo's evil, and I can't wait for the next week's stream! (Fun fact: I wrote the comment that Carl commented on at 1:04, such a minor thing to be proud of BUT DAMMIT I'M PROUD).
Me when I watch youtube: Lying sideways on my chair with my spine rotated 420 degrees. Me when I watch one of Carl's videos: Sitting straight up, feet on the floor, in a somehow less comfortable, but healthier position than the previous one.
OMG, started watching this on a laptop at McDonalds, and 5 seconds later....the familiar keyboard beats of Call Me Maybe begin playing over the restaurant's radio speakers.
Another amazing effort Carl. Tremendous viewing as always. Well done. Love you videos and live stream so much. Makes me smile no matter what kind of day I've had at work
Man I know this is 2 years old, but I feel you about the never problems. I was born premature and suffered and injury during military service that agrivated nodes I was born with on the nerves in my spine. I ended up with constant spine and testicular pain. If I'm careful about my posture, it helps a lot. I've sort of learned to like with it since 2014.
Hey carl if ur reading this i really enjoy your streams and videos! I think you are hilarious and keep doing what you do. Good luck with ur science career!
Wow...watching this video made me realize I've to go to the doctor because sometimes my arms go numb when I have a bad posture too. Guess I owe you one, Carl, lol.
If i remember correctly bloopers have 3 major behaviours. One will make it follow the general direction Mario IS (always accordingly with the bloper's movement); The second will make the blooper follow the direction Mario is LOOKING; The third is random movement. Still.... don't know how Mario Maker manage the definition of the RNG related to the three choices.
I could almost swear bloopers are controlled by what direction Mario is facing in a single specific frame. Maybe the frame itself is slightly random but I've found some success in trying to control them this way. It hasn't _always_ worked but I've found it does the majority of the time, at least for me.
