The walk of shame refers to a situation in which a person must walk past strangers or peers alone for an embarrassing reason before reaching a place of privacy. It often occurs the morning after a night out at a bar, nightclub, or party. People undertaking the walk of shame are understood to have spent the night at the residence of a sexual partner (or perceived sexual partner), particularly a one-night stand. The topic is often the subject of college newspaper commentary. The "walker" may often be identified by his or her disheveled appearance and incongruous evening attire, particularly on Saturday or Sunday mornings. you're welcome
I won the gold ball several times, But never the ticket. Heck, Thanks to the lottery, I had a game of Goomba's Greedy Galla where the person with the lowest amount of coins had about 212 coin, Highest being 556.... So many gold balls....
For me i winn the gold ball all the time, and I think u can winn the gold ball easier if u roll the stick as fastest u can, cuz everytime i try as fast as i can i get the goldball, and then slow just a white ball
This board represents life. Always running away from the next disaster waiting to happen, and when you do finally escape the path of shame you realize that it's only a matter of time before you loop back around to it.
Koopa Kids are boring because they always steal somewhere between 10-30 coins. Bowser on the other hand makes things a lot more spicier with the big stuff that he can put on the line. Big shame there was NO Bowser communism at all during the whole LP. It's extremely rare in MP4
The fruits of doom bowser minigame always creates so much suspense when everyone chooses all the obvious fruits that were easy to see at the beginning. From that point on it's pretty much pure guess luck if you couldn't catch a glimpse of one of the later fruits shown. Overall I think it's a good design for a minigame.
I was once playing on Shy Guy's Jungle Jam at a party and someone legit won the star lottery. The room was then filled with her laughter and the rest of us screaming at the game
Mega Board Mayhem is the best Board of the game actually. Better than both Mini Board Mad Dash and the 6 Party Mode Boards. If only it still had mid-turn Minigames. And it had no way of getting Bowser Spaces still. Then, it would justify this game actually being worth anything.
+Somebody0123468 It's the best board in your opinion. I agree with Chuggaa, and I like the feeling of suspence and action that the party boards bring. Of course, that's *my* opinion.
You know, Wario winning this in the end actually makes a bit of sense. Wario has always been the AI-controlled character to come the closest to winning, and in one instance, he literally only lost because of Chance Time. So it seems fitting that Wario would be the first AI-controlled character to win a board.
Emile's movie knowledge has probably expanded a good deal since this recording session... dunno if he ended up winning the lottery, but I wouldn't be surprised. Congrats to Jon and Tim on their solid performances in this extra board, luck-based as it is... and Wario ultimately taking the gold anyway.
When Jon said "Give me the orange" I really hope he was referencing that educational Pumpkin computer game. xD Also fruits of doom is such a hilarious game.
I actually remember one player winning the ticket lottery on Goomba's Greedy Gala once when I played the game. He says something like "you've found the needle in the haystack" (freely translated from the German version I played) and hands you over a star. Even though I played a good 100+ game sessions in MP4, I think this was the only time it ever happened...
I love how Chuggaa says "I'm doom" to Darts of Doom, and he should definitely go to the Lottery. I always see you be lucky on the luck based mini-games.
I've done story mode with every character and played this game a lot on my own, and I've only seen a CPU Waluigi win it once. He didn't even win the board but it was such a crazy thing
The Shawshank Redemption is one of my favourite movies. Definitely recommend :) As for Citizen Kane... I'd say it's mostly interesting only for those who study film, but maybe that's only because that was my perspective while watching it.
Fun Fact, when I first played this game this was one of the first boards I played and Fruits of Doom was the first mini-game I got and it was on this board.
I have some bad news to tell you. One day Chugga will leave us. I think about a year ago it could've been more like 2 years in an article Chugga said that he plans to be done with Let's Plays be time he is 30. He plans to go to college, and get a degree in something like film. He plans to get a job like editing movies. He moved to Atlanta because the school he plans going to is in Atlanta. He might have changed his plans he was talking about in a previous episode of Mario Party 4 he was hoping to move out of his apartment. I don't know if his moving to a different state, somewhere closing to home, or he is just tired of his apartment, but still loves Atlanta. This was recorded months ago he might have talked about moving in a previous video or posted something on Facebook or Twitter anyway I'm getting of topic. In conclusion, I read an article that Chugga would not be doing this as a career for his whole life, but there is some evidence and theory his plans might've changed.,
Also, we don't have to worry about Chugga winning the lottery only old people win the lottery. I have a crazy conspiracy theory about that, but that is a story for another day.
After playing it for about a decade, I finally won the lottery at the last 5 turns about a year ago. It was glorious when i finally saw that. Then after that on like 3 boards in a row i won the 100 coins from the lottery shop.
I actually won the lottery once. It was during a story mode run on Boo's Haunted Bash and it was also the game that an item bag gave me both a magic lamp and a crystal ball! Needless to say, I was very happy that night.
I have played this game since it came out, learned the ins and outs, and never won the in-game lottery. My younger sister decided she wanted to play, and she immediately won the jackpot, on BOTH lotteries (ball and card), in the same board. Yeah.
It's okay, Emile. I've never watched all of the good movies either. Name a movie, and 99 times out of 100, I have not seen it. You're not the only one. :)
I used to win the Scratch Card Lottery all the time for 100 Coins, but not anymore :( I remember getting the Golden Ball once, but I always felt that rotating the Control Stick fast always gave you something for a prize.
4:50 I have, the scratch card game is literally a 1/4 chance to get anything, with 12 cards and each prize being on one card of the 12. The scratch off is one of the more easy games to win, because there’s a 1 in 12 chance for 1st prize, 1 in 12 for 2nd, and a 1 in 12 for third.
I have seen the in-game 100-coin prize be won a few times in another let's play (wiiriketopray), but never when I played myself. However I have never seen the end-of-game ticket-lottery do anything whatsoever.
Despite losing the minigame, Jon's final 1 was the best possible roll he could have had, since a 2+ would have had him hit the sparky sticker. The game literally came down to the minigame, and it bit Jon again
I've never gotten the gold ball in the lottery, but I've gotten the 100 coin prize scratch off many times. When I've played it, I've found it most often in the bottom left corner of the scratch off tickets. And as far as the 5 turns remaining lottery, I've seen a computer win it once, many, many years ago. Boy, was I pissed off...
While playing this at Drexel about a year ago, two people won 1st prize from the lottery's ball game in a row on the same turn but I've never seen anyone's lottery ticket win at the start of the Last 5 Turns. True story.
I've won first prize at the lottery a couple times, but not with the scratch ticket. It was awesome! Emile, Jon and Tim you guys are the best. Plus that was in game not real life
4:35 - Chugga, Mario Party TV has a playthrough of a Mario Party 4 board in which the grand prize was won, I believe, *three times*. This was a _single game_.
there is a slight difference tho Danke sehr is, as you said, thanks a lot. Danke schön is more of a "more polite thanks", basicly the difference between just thanks and thank you.
i got this game the day it came out and im still playing it to this day. i've never seen anyone win any lottery. not at the end of the game or when you're stopping by. never.
4:42 After Boo's Haunted Bash went up, I went and played the board myself, and actually managed to win the Lucky Party Ticket Drawing that time. (Since the wheel's spinning while the host is saying "First the left picture" and such, I think it might be possible to actually time it.) Never gotten the top prize in the Lottery Shop before, though.
When it comes to movies, I am just like Chugga. I've never watched the vast majority of some of the most recognized films ever made, or the popular ones of today.
One time me and two of my friends were playing this game, and I was getting a ton of luck, and as I went to the lottery, my friend said "Watch, now he's gonna win the lottery!" I chose my scratcher and behind it was the number "1" and the beautiful 100 gold coins rained down onto my skull, smashing it to pieces, but I didn't care, because I was filthy rich!
4:45 I've won the lottery in Mario Party 4 before. No joke. You get a free star. Kinda good, but also kinda not considering how rarely it happens. You'd think it'd be a better prize, like 3 stars of something. But oh well. It was still a nice feeling when it happened. I've also won the 1st prize at the lottery shop a few times. :D
Same! On one of the turns three people landed on a Bowser space and each time it made everyone lose 20 coins, so by the end of the turn everyone had 60 less coins! And that was only a third of the way through the game!
Three 1s in a row? I've had four in Mario Party 3, and they were all on the first four turns. In that same game, I subsequently got 3 Magic Lamps (one that Toad gave me for free, another from Swinging with Sharks and a third that I bought) while have a star space spawn right next to me after having used one of them and then landing on a second last turn hidden block with a star.
In retrospect, it probably wasn't the best idea for Emile to place the Sparky Sticker right in front of the orange pipe. The sticker would stop them right in front of the pipe, giving them the perfect opportunity to use a mini mushroom on the next turn. And I'm beginning to learn more and more as TRG continues that many euphemisms escape Emile.
8:16 Well Tim, you just earned a support spectator for the next Mario Party board with that reference lol And that sucks :S This whole thing would of changed had Jon not lost Bowser. It's one of those moments again where one thing can screw someone up completely As for the board, yeah. It is more nerve racking than the last one.
actually I started playing this game again after you started the LP and on my second board the hard CPU donkey kong won the lottery and then won the game by 1 star I was so mad.
I've seen the lottery game won exactly twice. Once was myself on Shyguy's board on Christmas (call it a Christmas Miracle even though I still lost) and the other was a computer player (Mario) on Bowser's board. Afterwards he was called up to hit the block cus' he was still coming last. Final results didn't change. Moral of the story: Mario Lottery equals losing.
I think people are misunderstanding which lottery. Chuggaa was talking about the lottery card with the 3 character faces on it. That you keep till the last 5 turn mark.
I have seen someone win the lottery in Mario Party 4 once and earn an extra star. That was 1 and only 1 time I was ever able to witness that in person. After that, I have never seen another person win the lottery in this game.
I have won the lottery on the very first round of Mario party 4, I then thought that Someone would always win, and I got suprised when that NEVER happened again
Walk of Shame (according to urban dictionary) : The walk across campus in the same clothes as yesterday after you slept with someone and spent the night in their dorm room
I've actually won the in-game lottery 4-5 times, the 100 coin win. I've never won the 30 coin prize, and i've only seen the mushroom win once. I don't how,but i'm not questioning it
I really don't get how the AI plays Fruits of Doom. I mean, the game is dependent on on how quickly you can read the words, but the AI can't look at the screen. Does it just put all the correct choices in an array, and then randomly change a few, so there's a chance of it being wrong? Otherwise, all it could do is cheat, and find the correct fruits automatically. Also, what happens if Bowser is given all the correct fruits? Does the game just end in a draw?
If all the correct fruits are picked, the player who went first is basically doomed to lose, as they are forced to choose a fruit that wasn't on the list. It's "Fruits of DOOM" for a reason, y'know.
Well, if he wins the lottery he could probably afford more goats. That said he's probably the secret child of Nuffle. And with that said, if Crendor ever does another Blood Bowl tourney, Chugga should consider signing up.
Chuggaconroy’s question about if ever winning the lottery in Mario Party 4. I’ve won the lottery card 1st prize a lot of times and 2nd prizes. The way how I did it was I try to see if I can detect where the prize cards through my own mind. And it works most of the time.
I remember playing the lottery shop in the game, and I saw a "1" on the scratch card. I didn't really look at the score chart so at first I thought "Oh cool, I win!" Then I saw I got 100 coins. You know what that reminds me of? When I was playing MP8 with my sister and in the Goomba board she got 1-1-1, and then in the Shy Guy board she got 7-7-7.
I actually won the lottery on the last five turns in college... after twelve years of owning the game. All they give you is a star, and I had it immediately stolen the next turn. It still won me the game, though!
