I think because this game was rushed due to originally idea was suppose to released on Nintendo GameCube, but scrapped to it released on Nintendo Wii last moment and never got chance to give more development
Befour6 Is fam Same. Last month on my birthday my dad brought me to GameZone and told me I could buy two games. I bought this game and Ace Attorney because this game brings back so many memories and I love it, and I've just always wanted Ace Attorney.

@@gachachanforeverIt was this one 0:07 This one too 3:38, I loved to wash the chain chomp and I thought it was adorable to have a chain chomp as a dog, but tbf it does act like a dog and it even barks like one lol And also this one too 9:58, Idk I just thought it was fun, but of course very tired, cause my arm would kind of hurt a little from all of the shaking I did with the Wii remote lol
51:50 Me and my friends love this minigame (Cut from the Team), we would always get hipe and excited when this game came up every time we played. 😂 It was competitive and brutal for us, and the whole time we play we get super nervous but was still super funny, Good times. (Also there was 4 of us so there was no CPU’s with their cheating win BS)
I will always thank Mario Party 8 for being the parent of the video game industry for me, as I loved it so much and was my first ever Mario Party. I was an extreme try hard though because I found out all the tricks to win faster as a young 3-10 year old
I still don't understand why this game gets so much hate. Besides graphics and controls (which really wasn't a problem for me a t all) why do you guys hate the game? At least it follows the same concept unlike 9 & 10

I despised that one. Me and my sister would play together all the time. Every time this mini game came up we started crying and had to restart because us being stupid 6 and 4 year olds, we for some reason didn’t understand how to do that one.
One of my favorite games at 6:12. Playing wii all the time with my cousins and siblings when my younger sister would always say why dry bowser is dry bowser just because that’s what my older cousins said. Good times! Hold on to those moments because they fleet so fast.
I love that exciting moment where your team lost against the one alone, and you're like… the one who can prevent them loose, and the other ones just cheer you up in that epic moment of the fight in the 1 vs 3 mini games Just… awesome
This game had great mini games, and amazing maps to play, probably the best maps in the series honestly. The pirate map, hotel and the mansion especially
I know I'm like fucking 3 years late, but I want everyone to know that.. That's the best Mario Party 8 minigame. No one will ever be able to change my mind.
Glacial Meltdown is pretty underrated, fighting minigames are my favorite, the ice platform moves and it's slippery and also you can do many things with the Buzzy Bettles, like jumping on them, pushing them, getting hit by them and also jump on them when they are already moving 55:26
Wish someone compiled the various individual winning animations of each mini game, as 8 is the only one where they almost have skits for alot of the games like the 2 v 2 paint ball game lol or one involving the ghosts chasing the losers, tho I forgot which one is that already name wise 😂
This game appeared in North America while Spider-Man 3 and Shrek The Third were still playing in theaters, and a month before Ratatouille started playing in theaters.
Back then when I was like 7 and I played this game with my older sister (the good old days) when she actually wanted to hang with me and I'm like wow the graphics these days (2016) I'm like dang
Honestly, any of these minigames that didn't require the motion controls could've been here (like the one from 8:57 or 28:15 for 2 examples) but instead... *Winner or dinner and paint misbehavin'.*
I like some of the settings and locations these mini-games take place. When I was young I thought this was the modernized direction for Mario and all the future games would have this new style. These locations include: An urban city A basketball court A baseball field A construction site (with the king bob omb) A clock store A backyard (washing a Chain Chomp) An arena battling with the second player with cards. Updated classic locations like Princess Peach’s castle with the flags.
The minigames make up for the questionable map choices... and the minigames are the best out of all the minigames within the series when it comes to the win screens, usually having something happen within them in the background, or something happen after the win pose
I really missed Hudson Soft so much (1998-2007) and I always missed when one character won unless 2 vs 2 or 1 vs 3 minigame “Yes I am winner” then get to result instead now it just go to results it makes three characters win
