When I first tried this minigame, I actually won in my first try. And the last CPU took the dead rope. That was beginners luck. No joke.

This minigame gave me PTSD

This is the most stressful thing out of Mario Party 8. There's probably more, I haven't played it in a while, but damn this is SCARY.

For some reason I always loved playing this minigame when I was younger

My brother and I have have made it very far in this one. It is so heart stopping!

You can't, it's a game of chance, similar to Bowser's Big Blast from Mario party 2 and 4.

This past Christmas I used this minigame to do a tournament with my family, we were like 17 people and I made 3 prizes for the first 3 places. It was the most fun, I will do it again this coming December.

I actually like the kind of mini-game that messes with your nerves, like this one.

I want this mini game to come back in Superstars for the lols

There are three ropes that are losing ropes, therefore out of ten ropes, the farthest all 4 could make it to it 3 ropes remaining, after which, each subsequent person will trigger a catapult, yes, if you are down to the very last rope (it will be 2 people left) then you've already lost.

The hardest minigame in the whole game is this, in my opinion. I'm never going to know how to tell the dead wires from the alive ones.

I really hate this mini game. The first time I played it with my mum it decided to be really cheap on us. Here is what happened, I went first (I was Wario) and it kicked me out on the first try, then it was my mum's turn (She was Boo) and she got kicked out first try next was Yoshi(CPU) and he got kicked out first try. So Luigi(CPU) won by doing absolutley nothing. Me and my mum were both p*ssed off I vow never to have Luigi as a CPU ever again.

This is probably my favorite luck minigame. 2nd place goes to the bowser's big blast

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get to the last rope with three people. The game's rigged so that only one person can win.

Complete story mode. In the last level you will fight either Blooper or Hammer Bro, then face Bowser. After defeating Bowser, you unlock the character you battled before Bowser. Play story mode again and you get the other character.

I hate this mini-game for so many reasons 1-It's luck 2-At times like 1:47 there is no way you can get the correct one but all of them come back in Bowser's Big/Bigger Blast 3-You almost always get this mini-game This is the 2nd worst Mario Party mini-game and the worst Mario Party 8 mini-game. The worst Mario Party mini-game is Tug o' War
