@@Ihonestlydek True, but the thing I appreciate about Mario party 9 in comparison to the other games is the car system because with each players turn the car is moving and it feels like you’re getting somewhere, not like the other games where you’re stuck until it’s finally your turn again.
I used to play Mario Party 9 all the time when I was younger, especially during 2013-2016. I haven't played since February 2020, this video has inspired me to play this game again.
i like how this game gives each character their own unique animation for everything, like how mario swings his arms while slightly bouncing his knees for his idle animation, or how toad punches the ground for when he's running (in later titles he got a new running animation but the punching the ground one carried on to toadette) it gives the characters so much more personality
@@LicenciadoLouiOh yeah, DS introduced bosses. How could I forget? DS and 9 were the best Mario Party games! Not because of the bosses (partially because of them), but they were just so fun!
I don’t care what people say i think this is the best mario party game in existence, its so unique, instead of the usual collecting starts and coins to win, you collect mini stars, fight bosses, and that determines the winner, just brilliant and amazing
People don’t have a good taste in things, I assume. It’s like in Mario Kart 7 where people hated Honey Queen and Wiggler just for being new, and New Super Mario Bros Wii had the Koopalings return, with fans hating them.

I know the car system is defferent from what I'm used to, but personally, I kinda enjoy it. While I may be the only one saying this, I love Mario Party 9.
Wow this brings back memories… I remember going over to my friend’s house in like 2012 and 2013 and we’d play this game all the time. I remember I used to think that the CPU players were actual people playing on a computer, and that’s why it was called computer player 😂
I know no one’s gonna read this, but I’ve actually been struggling a bit for the last year with mental health. Lots of bad thoughts roam my mind, and I always feel like a piece of shit to this world. But watching videos like these reminds me of the good old days, when I could play Wii with my older brother and not care about anything. No anxiety, no eating disorders, nothing. Now he is 22 and he is no longer living with me. In fact, now that I think about it, my overall sanity has kind of relied on him. Life can hit you very hard without you even noticing. To all watchers: The reason this Mario Party has a major change from the originals, is because Hudson Software left for Konami in 2011 and this was instead developed by Nd Cube, same goes for Island Tour, 10 and Star Rush.
Not all the modern Mario party titles before Super Mario party were bad. Mario party:star rush was surprisingly decent and Mario party 9 was actually good (Only ruined by the so-called fans). Mario party:island tour and Mario party 10 were just mediocre,and Mario party:the "top" 100...always been a huge disappointment.
3:18:12 Bowser Jr. Breakdown and Bowser’s final boss fight will always be my favorite fights from this game ❤ Edit: This game may not be perfect but I adored playing them when I was younger

i remember playing all the mini games with my friend when we were younger kids now im near 14 yrs old and thats also when i first played this game and when it was also also the first mario party game i played
i miss this game so much i remember playing my wii all day in 2020 but it broke and i’m sad but i have a switch which is okay not as fun but will hold a memory in my heart
i used to play mario party 9 all the time as a kid! unfortunately i wasn’t able to play it after 2015 because my family’s wii broke. it was just the other day i went over to my boyfriend’s house and brought my old wii games, because his wii still works. i put the mario party 9 disc in, and the second the main menu popped up i welled with tears. this game will always make my inner kid smile
As someone who’s actually done this, I can tell you: Vehicles you unlock with Party Points can be used in Solo Mode. I unlocked the Float Mattress and sure enough, when I entered the level we were driving it instead of the default vehicle!
I would say the same about Mario Party DS, or literally any Mario Party. For example, "Get The Lead Out" is input spam and despite how hard I try, I can't even beat hard difficulty cpus
I’ve had to replay Bob-Omb Factory THREE TIMES and I STILL haven’t beat it! I’ve won every Minigame & Boss Battle, but those STUPID BOWSER SPACES double Shy Guy’s Mini Stars! GRAHHHH!!
