My prayers have been granted! A Mario Party legacy?! This is going to be the BEST session ever. I can't wait to sit through it all and laugh at all the salt and rage.
Worth pointing out: that first mini game where you drop a chest down the zig-zagging pipes is NOT purely luck based. If you look at where your character is standing right as the minigame starts, you’re then able to see what line you’re supposed to take while the camera pans up, and thus know which of the four pipes you’re supposed to drop it down. I used to have close to a 100% win rate on that minigame as a kid. Not anymore, though, as it’s too fast for my old decrepit eyes to keep up with it nowadays :P. I got REALLY salty when I played this with my brother last month, and failed at the mini game for the first time in like 20 years. And I suddenly felt very, very old...
Still one of my favourite Mario Party games, all these years later. All the 64 MPs where great, but it’s hard to beat the nostalgia I have for playing the original almost on a daily basis with my brother. Well that, and the deep flesh wounds I got in my palms from playing this game are embedded in my soul to this day. Whenever we took brakes from this game it wasn’t because we didn’t like it, it was because we physically couldn’t play it while the craters in our palms healed. And then we’d do it all over again, like the numbskulls we where.
TBrizzle01 That was me and my brother’s rule when we played it recently: no palm on stick wiggling. Both because I don’t wanna ruin my new N64 controllers, and also because we’re too fucking old for that shit. Walking around with a flesh pit in your palm might’ve been a badge of pride when we where 10, not so much when we’re almost 30 :P.
There's an unofficial scoring system somewhere to determine who is the best at Mario party It takes in to account stars, coins, mini-game wins, spaces, board wins etc. All the stats But it's up to someone in the community to keep track of that Boys at Game Attack had two seasons of this if anyone cares to see an example of how it was done
If the next episode is when I think it is, we'll get to see the great Salty Steeb make it so Max has to lay new ground rules for Mario Party streaming.
I got confused as soon as I heard Max say TEKKEN comes out this week until I remembered that there's a second DLC season. I'm hype for this series though.
