This Mario Party is honestly close to perfect. Brought back great boards, the old chaotic minigames, and proper online from the get go. Can't wait to get this
@@alexandroid11184 There's still a few minor things about the game that's a little bit annoying, but it's nothing too major. Still think it's the best entry we've had in years
@@chestercheeto692 because Nintendo doesn’t pay attention. Booksquirm and Shy Guy Says are my personal faves, but, yes, Hexagon Heat is still pretty good
Game looks incredible! Love the look of Snowball Summit in particular. They really didn't need to add voices for every action though, as Rockin' Raceway, among other games, is just all sorts of goofy. (And, they seemingly forgot didn't add 4 Player Victory music from MP2, not that it's a big deal)
Variety, pure fun and pure entertainment. When it comes to this game, we can talk about sweet perfection. This game has it all: varied and fair boards, the minigames are funny and creative, online functions as it should. This is the best Mario Party game in years.
Much better than the first Super Mario Party Game for the Nintento Switch. Did somebody noticed that the new one its like Squid Game sometimes. With the breaking Glass challenge, the cut out the cookies, the red shy guys with their mask. etc.
This is a great return to form for Mario Party, not as good as Mario Party 6 but still good. A remastered Mario Party 6 would be nice and then just keep updating it with new content and you won’t have to make another Mario Party for about 5 - 10 years
I don’t know what the future of the switch will be like. But I came up with a brainstorm if the switch ever gets a third Mario party. Mario Party Odyssey. Hear me out. The boards would be based on various kingdoms in odyssey, there’d be mini games based on some of the best mini games used in odyssey. It’d be the first Mario party to maybe have a very select few 8 bit mini games with chip tunes for music. The hosts of the boards would probably be the natives of the kingdoms they are based on and finally most importantly, it’d be Pauline’s Mario Party debut.
The delay from when you push the plunger in Bowser's Big Blast to the result of the push is really unnecessary. The tension just keeps building the longer the suspense goes on.
Ha! That just makes that mini-game even better! I miss the trolly-faced Bowser bomb from MP2, but if it means I and others have to suffer in anticipation for a longer duration, I'll take it! :3
@@Kurohyasha Objectively speaking, I do understand the increased duration makes the mini-game's session take longer to complete. My take on it is that, since the "quality of life" updates to board gameplay dramatically speed it up, this can be overlooked as a negative. In addition, the increased duration can result in a new, funny experience for humans. In my case, I actually played this mini-game online with friends last night. When I pushed the switch and had to wait, I was like, "Oh god! Please tell--", and then I saw the bomb start to blow up in my face. My friends just laughed at my audible dread and sudden disappointment.
@@Kurohyasha you like the Mario Party 4 version? I get that this version is slow, but that one is so slow that when I watch it on videos i think that the video is lagging
42:20 remember in the original balloon burst minigame on the N64 that the inflatable Bowser would alternate between different facial expressions for each phase of the blow-up process? Wish they had done the same here... I guess there really is no better than the first time...

2:10 this looks like a action movie where the bad guy/girl dies, Daisy is the bad girl and Mario the good guy he pushes Daisy down and her scream echoes that looks really cool.
Having played against Master CPUs, this is definitely only hard AI. Master AI goes full speed in the minigame at 39:38 and gets much higher scores in Snow Whirled.
Yes. I agree big time! that was my biggest criticism yet like in other games starting with Mario Party 6 or 7. I always hated the player color order and that they make sounds when doing action! they should have been taken off and get replaced by the character colors to represent them! Someone should do a mod.
