THIRTY YEARS OF CAREER, ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS DJs, HIS SONGS ARE ANOTHER LEVEL LIKE ALL THOSE OF THE 90'S, THERE WILL NEVER BE COMPARISON. AND ONE WHO CRITICIZES AND SAYS THAT MARIO IS NOT MIXING WELL, BUT WHO ARE YOU. MARIO PIU' RICKY LE ROY FRANCHINO NO ONE LIKE THEM.

Usually I write good stuff about the sets and not complain about the ones I don't care about, but this was the worst set I've ever heard out of all the Luminosity Beach events during the last 15 years. I'm not mentioning the big names like Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate or some other trouse names played at this event, cause at least the mixing in their case was fine. Mario's mixing was awful, and I'm talking about every single track. When I was learning to dj last year I did less mistakes in my first day. Mario Più has been releasing music since 1993 (30 years now) and most likely dj-ing since the 80's, so I really hope he was simply under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He has chosen to play the same overplayed classics which get played at any trance event ever by some local names in any city in the world - Silence, Southern Sun, For An Angel, Age Of Love... I get that he's not playing a BXR label tribute set, but he could at least have chosen something more interesting for the last set of the event? I'm not even mentioning Sandstorm and Kernkraft 400 (I have a gag reflex when I think about that track).... And once again - why play the reworks of the classics if it's a classics set? I don't get this modern trend. The classics stage was initially created for the people to enjoy strictly classics, wasn't it? I believe dj's can easily play the reworks of the classics at any other stages. "Era Vulgaris - Bastard Ben" and "Mario Più - Unicorn (Mas Mix)" were probably the most interesting tunes here (though 1st one was played last time by him at Luminosity 2019), "Y.O.M.C. - Oasis" + "4 Strings - Daytime" were fine (but still too cheesy for my taste). Picotto tunes were very obvious to hear. This definitely didn't feel like a Luminosity 2023 Sunset Area Closing Set from a BXR raw hard trance legend, more like a set from a tier 1 trancer who came to this electronic music genre from EDM in the beginning of 2023, heard a couple of ASOT top 1000 tracks and decided to learn mixing while having no music education, no basic beatmatching skills. As I'm not a big fan of BXR classics I've skipped this set back at the event and decided to spend the last set of the festival at Aly & Fila - now I understand that it was 100% a good idea 😁

I really want to be at the festival in 2024, but fucking war…

I love him, but I have to agree with most folks here, his mixing was very confusing and bizarre. What a missed opportunity.
