I think I know why the Bob-omg and the Toads kept disappearing. I think it’s because the game sends it back through the portal when you get close. Maybe if you re-locate the exit portal before getting close, then the entities won’t disappear.

The shell underwater is actually a seperate shell with seperate behavior. It did what it was meant to do. Theres land shells, and water shells. If you pick up a water shell on land it acts like a box. Throwing it will have it combust on frame one. That's why the shell didn't work for you, because it's actually a different shell. A water shell.

My guess is some objects and enemies have a set elevation range. That's why the blue Womp was in the air.

You should have tried blasting from a cannon INTO a portal. For example, trying to land on the floating island using the cannon at the beginning of the level.

It’s an underwater shell. You can see the bubbles even when it is on land. It won’t work the same way as a normal shell.

I think i know why the objects disappear, because the objects are programmed to be in a certain area and when they get teleported somewhere else, they glitch out
