They definitely should. It bothers me that we don’t know what happened to the Spark Hunters after Cursa’s defeat, they just were never seen or heard from again. I thought they would of wanted a second chance with Edge & the heroes after their ruler was gone.

I think the fourth one will all talk about rayman universe more than rabbids

​@Shyontheinternet99in the ending it's revealed that Bedrock, Midnite and Daphne all turned a new leaf and are probably looking for another job somewhere with Cursa gone, preferrably one that doesn't involve being a dick so it's really only Kanya whose fate we never really know.

Why is that? I haven't used her in a while and I don't remember her powers I did it with Rabbid peach, peach and rabbid Mario, it was hard indeed

@@garrettstuder2783 it would've been useful, yes. I made it with Peach shields + spark that increases attack to destroy him and the enemies and rabbid peach as a healer, also having the revival spark just in case

Yeah even after this DLC the Spark Hunter aren't that fleshed out if you ask me. Still no real closure to Daphne and especially Midnite and Bedrock, not even a cameo in this DLC.

My best guess is that Kanya was a bear trap? At least judging by those teeth

@@emel6423 possibly, but chain chomps also have sharp teeth like that...but as none of the other spark hunters were fused with mario objects its likely Kanya was fused with a bear trap

I had this theory even before the dlc released and i think what the DLC told and implied kinda supports it further... Basically I think Kanya is either a Edge prototype or Edge's replacement but either turned against Cursa or was discarded by Cursa. - Kanya and Edge share multiple physical similarities, which implies these two are linked and possibly made from the same material. - According to Edge what differenciates the spark hunter leader from the hunters is that she has free will while the others are pretty much puppets (the scene were Cursa talks to the hunters shows they're like mindless drones waiting for orders). Her free will is what allowed her to rebell against Cursa, while the others simply cannot do so. Kanya's dialogue clearly show that she Can think for herself and that she's not Cursa's puppet (she outright says so) which is proof that she has free will just like Edge. Couple that with the similar looks and it becomes pretty obvious she was meant to be the leader at some point. - Now did Kanya A) Come before Edge ? or B) come After Edge ? It's a tough one. I'll provide arguments for both answers so you Can make your own opinion. A) Edge says she never Heard of Kanya and while Kanya does acknowledge Edge as one of Galaxy's toughest fighters, she doesn't seem to know that Edge was a spark hunter which she would probably know if she was her replacement. None of the spark hunters mention the existence of Kanya to Edge, you'd think that they'd at least hint at it when talking to Edge, to try to upset her, telling her she'll end up like her but no, they never mention it. If Kanya came after Edge, why did Cursa make Darkmess Edge instead of a Darkmess Kanya ? You could Say it's to mess with Edge's mind, but still, why use a copy of Edge when you Can use a copy of what is (under hypothesis A) the final version of Edge ? Darkmess Edge makes more sense if Kanya came before Edge and therefore IS the prototype. There's also the symbolism, what if the fact Kanya uses a prototype of her mech symbolizes how she's the prototype herself and Edge is the final version ? Tho to be fair, it could work either way and maybe the prototype symbolizes Edge, or maybe there's no symbolism at all here, Let's not overthink it. Where there absolutely is symbolism though is the broken statue in Cursa's Stronghold. All the spark hunters have a statue, including Kanya but not Edge which further implies she came After Kanya. It also symbolizes how Kanya was discarded but more on that later. B) The fact Kanya has that playful and childish vibe really makes her feel like Edge's crazy younger twin sister (I know all the Spark hunters are canonically sisters but Kanya really feels like younger Edge) which only makes sense if Kanya came After. We know that Edge went her own way After turning on Cursa, which means there's a time period before the game's events during which Edge made a name for herself in the Galaxy. Kanya could have been the leader during that period and that's how she Heard about Edge but is discarded/turns against Cursa before the start of the game. I'll admit this is a bit biased as I don't provide as many arguments for hypothesis B but it's because I genuenly can't think of anything in aside from these two points. Still, they're very solid points so it evens out imo. I personally believe in hypothesis A but it's just my opinion. Now, did Kanya rebell against Cursa or was she discarded ? Both of these ideas explain why Kanya hates Cursa and wants to overthrow her but I'm not sure which one is correct. On one hand, the way she speaks of Cursa really makes it sound like she Sees Cursa as incompetent and that she is much better than her, on top of that the fact she has free will means she can rebell against Cursa, just like Edge. From a storytelling perspective, It'd be cool that the two versions of the hunter leader, the only two creatures Cursa allowed to have free will, both Saw Cursa for what she really is and did their own thing, with one choosing to become a hero while the other chose to become a vilain on her own. On the other hand, there's stuff that alludes to Kanya having been disposed of. First off, the symbolism of her statue : it's been destroyed, which to me symbolizes that Cursa "deleted" Kanya : the statue celebrating her existence was destroyed, none of the spark hunters acknowledge her, and she's stranded on a secluded, primitive planet, you Can actually find her space ship in the dlc, it clearly crash landed in the melodic gardens. Thanks to JEANIE's journal entries about the Golems and the field breakers, we know that they're Cursa's creations but were modified by Kanya. The fire golem entry actually states Cursa discarded them because she wasn't pleased with the results, so it confirms that Cursa Can and does get rid of some of her creations, and that Kanya's army is composed of creatures who were rejected by Cursa. If Kanya herself was rejected, it explains why she took these goons in. Now, for the final and most mysterious part : what did Cursa use to create Edge and Kanya ? Truthfully, given how there's no pattern or logical connection with the components used for each hunter, it could be literraly anything. However, given that both Edge and Kanya have free will and thus were meant to be the leader, it probably is something that would make them special and powerful. And of course, it has to be something that look similar to them, just like daphne looks like a plant because she's made from a Pink climbing Rose for instance. The big trap here is to make speculations. Whatever component you're thinking about, you have to give proof that Cursa has Access to it and ideally that she would use it. If we find something that meets these two conditions, It'll have high chances to be close to the truth. What I propose is that Edge was made from merging Rabbid DNA with Bowser's DNA. Now, just in case a smooth brain starts freaking out, no that doesn't mean i'm saying Edge is Rabbid Bowser. Rabbid Counterparts don't have the DNA of the characters they're based on. But Let's not forget that before release, everyone taught Edge was a Rabbid Bowser gone rogue, and it's because they have physical similarities : pointy theet, thick eyebrows, similar haircut, Edgy Vibe, high physical strength. Darkmess Edge also happens to be immune to fire attacks, just like Darkmess Bowser (and in most games, Bowser always hangs around places filled with volcanos and lava). But does Cursa have Access to Bowser's DNA and Can she use it ? Well yes actually, Darkmess Bowser is a living proof. Also, i believe that the fact we run into Darkmess Bowser THEN Darkmess Edge back to back symbolizes their link and how Edge technically came from Bowser. And I Guess having the DNA of one of the most powerful beings in the Mario universe does make you pretty special. But what about Kanya ? Well, she also has physical similarities with Bowser : pointy theet, thick eyebrows, same eye color, no spiked collars but a spiked ball. I think it's possible she's made from Bowser's DNA just like Edge. But someone also suggested to me that Kanya was made from Bowser Jr's DNA. It would explain the playful, childish behavior, their laughs are also similar, as well as the tech savy thing (Kanya fights with a Giant mecha, just like Bowser Jr in Kingdom battle). Cursa would have Access to Jr's DNA because the megabug absorbed Spawn who is close to Bowser jr. That was way too long, congrats and thank you to anyone who read until here.
