The Mario series has played a major role in my life, especially my childhood. Didn't matter if I played alone, or with with friends and family, I always had a blast. My favorite game OST to this day is still from Super Mario Galaxy, and it will probably never be dethroned. Nostalgia sure is a powerful drug
In this mix I searched for calm songs with a night-themed vibe from the entire Mario series, including spin-offs. I plan to make a day-themed version as well sometime next year, so stay tuned!
There was one song I had to remove due to a copyright claim: Dire Dire Docks :'(

I will never forget the day I bought the new Nintendo Wii with super mario galaxy. I was in the eight grade, it was two days after my birthday. My older sister brought me to the local shop where I bought my first console. Man, I miss those days. I really loved Super Mario Galaxy and the freaking time we had back then. Some old core memories I will never forget. Thank you so much for the upload!

I also remember it very vividly. I was a little older and my first Video game was Mario 64. I liked sunshine but it was lacking in a way I could not grasp. Mario Galaxy was exactly that.

@@SealMeall I wouldn't agree, I like Galaxy more, not trying to spark a debate all positivity. But I owuld definetly recommend buying the all stars cartridge for the switch. Allows you to relive such an amazing game. Just wish Galaxy 2 was on it as well.

Thanks for this mix, man, I've been feeling really disconnected from my childhood, crying a lot. Feeling just.... unmoored from my life. Had to remember what life used to sound like, before COVID and stress and the world collapsed from under me. I had to remember to be a kid again.

*sighs* I wish there were lullabies versions of Fever and Chill and the two other songs from Dr. Mario 64, but the original version of Queque from Dr. Mario 64 was waking me up. I created that lullaby version of my favorite song from Dr. Mario 64.
