Unfortunately I couldn’t find a 60FPS patch for this game like with Winter Games (2010), so it’s mostly 30FPS. 😕

Easily the best of the series in my opinion. Having played this game when the actual Olympics in London occurred, it only makes it more nostalgic experiencing this for the first time in over a decade. From it having the most “dream events” to the modern selections, I would consider this the peak of these games. Update: Since I wrote this comment, one of the developers of the Mario and Sonic Olympics games confirmed that the series is officially over. Well, it was fun while it lasted. We'll miss this series and the fun times it gave us on the Wii.

The graphics engine here is REALLY good for Wii. And I’m not taking the 4K resolution into account here. This is a good looking game in general, and for the Wii.

If there's any pattern I keep finding in the mario and sonic olympic games, it's that a team if Blaze, Amy, Peach, and Daisy who appear to make a GREAT team and I'm sure great friends too.

I know I’m late to the party, but I’d just like to point out how this game did Discus Throw so well and then Tokyo 2020 made it stupid beyond belief by having the trajectory for the discus be invisible. I hated that. That aside, this game looks like so much fun.

Although some may like the 3DS version, for me it is crap that is limited ,Since in different events you only play by category and with limited characters, here you can play with any character at different events

If you’re playing these for the very first time, it’s beating a game-set record (which is what you see here). After that it’s your own record if you topped it.

hey neo, how did you map the controls out? I recently was able to find this rom and I'm almost able to play all of the events except for dream sprint. That event, and london party requires you to use the wii remote sideways, but of course I have my controls mapped on a GC controller.
