This video showcases a save file of the DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games that has all single-player modes being 100% completed by collecting 84 out of 88 total emblems. These emblems are earned for exceptional accomplishments in events, the Adventure Tour campaign mode and more. Note that the requirements for earning the emblems are easier than the ones for earning emblems in the Wii version of the game, as most of them require you to earn gold medals for every single character across every event, which can be a tiresome and tedious task.
The three emblems that can only be earned in multiplayer mode (local or online) are on page 3 of the emblems (starting from 2:14) and are as follows:
Friendship Emblem: Finish your first multiplayer match.
Challenger Emblem: Trade a ghost with another player with a copy of this game.
Network Emblem: Submit a record to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection leaderboards.
Without the ability to earn these 3 multiplayer emblems, the final Grand Master Emblem (also on page 3) is unobtainable, as it requires earning all the other ones.
