ohhhhh my god I came across this at the perfect time!! I've been getting back into this series and this is a retrospective on it that just released today??? I'm immediately watchin this
After watching this fully, this is a really great video,!! While it kinda sucks that this retrospective only covers the first half of the series, it's still nice seeing a retrospective on what I think might be the 'golden age' of the M&S series. I'd be really interested in seeing a part 2 featuring the Wii U and Switch era, but even if you never make one I still really enjoy this retrospective! I've only gotten the Beijing 2008 and Tokyo 2020 games, but I've always wanted to play the London 2012 one since middle school! The editing style of your video is also really nice, I love the music you used when bringing in the intro/chapter cards (and my favorite London 2012 ost played for its respective section, Equestrian ost my beloved lol) It was also pretty nice learning about some of the other stuff about the M&S games I never played, and I feel good finally learning about what the heck the scratchers were for, it was so wild seeing people play the game and never check out what those scratchers were for!! Quick edit: OOHG THE WAY YOU EDITED THAT LAST BIT AFTER THE END OF YOUR FINAL THOUGHTS IS SO AWESOME!! The way the music and clips are edited together was absolutely amazing!! Just subbed to your channel, can't wait to see what else you make!
Ok, because of you I am on my 3DS now playing Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic games! I’m literally tearing up playing the balance beam event😭😭😭 The game is so nostalgic to me, I have been playing since it came out when I was 8 in 2012💖
Even though this series is essentially a minigame collection, it still brought together two legendary gaming franchises in a monumental way R.I.P. Mario & Sonic Olympics (2007-2020)
