I played Super Mario 3D Land Star Worlds. You should watch me live on Twitch: / smallant ▶Discord: / discord ▶Twitter: / smallant ▶Reddit: / smallant ▶TikTok: / smallant Edited by: Devine_CMD #SmallAnt #Mario #Speedrunner
The ghost house part was starting to get old. Just because ghosts and platforms are invisible in a ghost house does not make it bad game design. I hate when people use that claim, makes no sense half the time.
the final level that isn't in this video is really the 200% of the game, you need to do every level a second time, have every star coins and every golden flag to do it, the reward is the champion's road of 3d land, the crown-crown level, only the master can beat it, you need to use almost all strategies possible like running when blocks have a space between them or jumping on a toad (hopefully there isn't any star coins to collect).
there aren't any star coins, but there is a flag to grab the top of, ofc. Apparently I missed it the first time I beat the level. F for past me. Also I thought you meant Goomba, but there is, in fact, a required toad bounce a ways into the level. Poor guy's stuck on a 1x1 platform in the middle of the void.
This video came to me at just the right time, as I’m currently in a 3D Land mood. Perhaps this is a sign that I should go play some of this game again.
man this brought back a lot of memories, i asked for a 3ds for my birthday but my sister got one with this game on hers, a few weeks later was my birthday and i got a 3ds as well with i dont even remember what games because i stole my sister's copy of mario 3d land
@@SwainixFPV the camera is far from clunky. Every part of the game has the camera tailored to what works best for that level. You never have control of the camera, but you don't need to because it's always in the right place. What makes you think the camera and movement is clunky?
@@SwainixFPV if anything, it's overrated… a lot of people praise it as the best 3D plateformer of the time, but movement is indeed clunky, camera is a pain (way too zoomed-in most of the time), and depth perception is awful. And it's a shame, because it really could have been a great game…
I remember watching this vod forever ago. Was fun to watch you play through this game and reminded me of when I played it back in 2011/12. I was stuck on that castle level where you rescue Luigi for a couple of days back then.
This game was my childhood! I can’t say that for many games but I remember this one (I remember convincing my Grandma to buy it for me even though my parents told me I had to wait for a reason I don’t entirely remember). I wasn’t very good at games growing up so I’m surprised I recognized some of these levels from the epilogue. Either way, cool vid, it was nice to get a blast from the past like this
If you beat every level in the game with both Mario and Luigi and getting the golden flag you will unlock a special level that is this game’s champion level
This game is my childhood and I'm very glad you played this also to get the final level you need every star coin and play every level as mario and luigi and get the top of the flagpole on every level
real talk 3D land was such a good bang-for-buck game. I remember playing it a ton at work (3rd shift security) when I first...modified my 3Ds. I played through the entire game twice and then actually bought a copy for my Mom's 2ds
i understand that you don’t want to grind all the levels again, but i truly would love to see you beat the final level. it’s really challenging and would be good content imo! i enjoyed watching nonetheless
