The Mario characters are always really lively and full of personality, but this game really took that to another level, I want a sequel for the Switch so bad and it should also be pretty easy ti make one, the game hasn't aged bad at all so it just needs better graphics, more characters ( Rosalina should definetely be there ), more stages and a little fix to some broken stuff
Even putting aside that the gameplay is worse (though still solid) the new one just doesn’t have the same personality. Hopefully the universal acknowledgement that’s it’s weaker than Charged moves the series back into that vein
Btw, every character theme is a specific type of music which also fits the personality of every character in the game Mario: Rock and Roll Peach: Techno Donkey Kong: African Drums Waluigi: Bluegrass Luigi: Flamenco Wario: Polka Bowser: Hard Rock Yoshi: Energetic Broadway Daisy: Synth Bowser jr: Surf Rock Diddy Kong: Indiam music Petey Piranha: Raggae
@@Howlingburd19because you blinded by nostalgia and want the old things over the no new things without giving them a chance People like this are the main reason why media and most people see gamers and people who play video games in general as a joke
@@slurp-savior there’s a difference between new things that are good and new things that are bad. New things that are good is like the upcoming Wonder game. New things that are bad is like Battle League, which has weaker gameplay, less replay value, and just like the original comment, has weaker content
@@Jackapod Don't go bashing Waluigi's theme- _his is one of THE BEST ones!_ 😆 If I had to pick one that didn't really fit the character, it'd be Diddy, but I still have to respect it for being an imaginative take on what kind of music to use.
I never knew flamenco would suit Luigi so well, no wonder his theme is the most popular for fans. And as for Waluigi's theme, it's called Bluegrass @@Jackapod
0:53 My favorite character in literally every Mario game is good ol Weegee. He might be scared of ghosts, but he is always light in the Mario Kart games, has literally my exact same personality, and gets the badass flamenco music, not Mario, but Luigi.

I think I get the picture..... Pretty hilarious yet menacing at the same time. I mean, he's threating the other team with a Banana, but the look on his face makes it clear how he's damn serious!
I absolutely love this game specifically because of these intros. They’ve basically turned the Mario characters we know and love into complete savages and make them look like they all wanna murder each other in cold blood
1:40 Not trying to come off as super ranty, but look at my boy Yoshi. I've seen so many depictions of him that portray his appetite as funny or quirky, but this pose and expression tell the truth. He will do _anything_ to satiate it... Also he growls like a motorcycle ngl
Imagine a new game from this series coming to the Switch. You know how many characters can be added?! I also wanna see Rosalina in it too. To see how she'll be like personality wise.
I think she should be the most adult of all the characters. Like her away entrance, she'd take a few steps forward and say "You better behave yourselves naughty boys..." 😏 and then holds her hip. She acts all sexy and sassy. And one of her celebrations would be posing the devil horns with one of her hands and says "Rock on!" ;D and another where she looks at the other team and poses an L with her right hand on her forehead calling them losers while she also holds her hip. How about that?
