Played this all the time when I was little on my pink gameboy advance. So much fun. Still play it on my TV, and Nintendo DS. Playing it right now. Gotta get all these PS!!
@FieraDevilWings Years ago, I kind of figured out that the higher the ball is, the stronger the power shot. It looks as though I'm right. Anyway, so what you're saying is that all offensive power shots except the Volcano Shot, the Gyro Shot, and the Flashflop Shot are vulnerable to that effect?
@Ronit Anegundi The power training minigames you unlock once you get to the Senior Rank. Go there and you can play minigames to boost Power Shot Stats. At first you’d only get the basic shots but more minigames open up the more progress you do
@lulallie - The Volcano Shot is great for luring your opponent (read: in singles, this won't work against them unless both are at the net) to the net then activating it so that they can't get it. It always bounces on the very edge so once it's above them it can't be stopped unless they have a Defensive PS of their own to counter it.
@kdnator - I was right. The reason? Because if you hit certain Power Shots at certain heights of the ball in comparison to you then you end up using a dropshot instead of a curved shot as originally planned (happens also to the Summoner and Specter Shots)
@chimanruler15 - Think of it this way, you would rather be frozen than screwed up by controls, right? The Specter Shot is even more devious than the Blizzard Shot if you use the above tricks...trust me, the Specter Shot is still more dangerous.
@chimanruler15 - Pretty much. The higher it is the lower it'll go, except for the lob shot Power Shots. And, of course, they can become extremely fast when done at the right time - it's one of the reasons I love the Blizzard Shot, it's extremely fast and powerful when you get it right.
Yeah, I noticed that after I posted the comment. And when I saw your comment that Mario Wiki would tell me, I went straight to that site like I always do and saw that the articles didn't exist even though they were there. That's why I told you it didn't have any for that game so I need to make them.
Before, years ago, I've gotten the gyro shot, the spectral shot , and the dragon shot. It was so hard to get those (I got them without knowing how). I'm not sure if I've gotten the sonic shot or not. I think I have. I never attempted to get the blizzard shot, the volcano shot, or the summoner shot (I did not know what this shot was called). Why? It would take a very long time to do so, and it would be very hard. >.
Actually it doesn't. There are no articles about the offensive or defensive Power Shots for "Mario Tennis: Power Tour". So I need to make some, along with many, many others for many, many other old games. Boy, does Mario Wiki need to expand their variety. The Mario series needs to expand their variety period instead of using the same old things over and over.
You agree that the Mario series needs to stop it with the same old things and have more variety? That's great! Thanks! If I ever work for Nintendo, I'd help them with making Mario fantastic again! I want to show them my new Mario Monster Villains, for Bowser has been the main villain for too long! That's one of the same old things on that series.
