Ever since I heard the baby crying I was confused who was that baby until Mario said “Alice” and I literally was in shock that she’s a baby and now he’ll be taking care of her.. Man Mario is really a nice, loyal, and hero and that is kinda reference to Super Mario Galaxy at the end when the Luma’s gave their lives to save Mario and everyone I was actually tearing up seeing everything from Luigi trying to find proof his brother is alive to Mario’s real death

This ending makes me both sad and yet happy at the same time. Mario gets cursed, Alice has another chance at life since she gets reborn as a baby and raised by Mario, yet Luigi could go mad because no one remembers Mario except him so to erase his suffering Mario wipes all memories of him from Luigi. This isn't exactly a bad ending. I'd class it as a neutral or good end. Because even though Alice was meant to be a villain for this game I'm glad this ending gave her another shot at life and she was raised by Mario and promised him she'd be strong after he leaves her. So in conclusion I don't hate this ending I actually like it

This isn't like the missing ending which to me is definitely the worst ending but this is definitely the saddest ending of all of them.

This Alice would've been if she hadn't met Riba to coax up the evil plan of eliminating Marchionne and was raised with love and kindness by Mario Mario has earned the title of best dad

@@Aster_Master The original Alice in one of the endings expressing remorse and regret for all of her actions when she has her final words And Good Alice didn't want to be left alone when Mario is about to pass one but promises him to be strong

Not sure if this was intended, but I think this ending is a great explanation for the Luigi playthrough of Galaxy 1. Think about it. When you play as Luigi in Galaxy 1, it's like Mario never existed. Nobody ever mentions him and Luigi is made out to be the main star, just like in Omitted Memory. Knowing this, the Comet Observatory passes by the planet just a few years after the events of Mario The Music Box. Knowing this, I think this ending fits perfectly into Mario Galaxy and offers an explanation to the bizarre circumstances surrounding the Luigi playthrough. Somewhere out there, as Mario is saying goodbye to Alice, Luigi is venturing through the galaxy to save Peach

Well that was a completely different remastered Omitted Memory Ending,like Mario basically reset Alice's life and went into the past so he could raise her well,and not let her grow up to be how she would be when she cursed the place.

The remastered version just made this ending sadder by showing Reborn Alice living the happy life she never had in her original self... And Mario leaving her in the night scene... And I just realized, "Appa" means dad in Korean. Or maybe I'm wrong.

This is one of the Mario The Music Box endings that actually makes me cry the part where Mario leaves Alice reminds me of that scene from "The Fox And The Hound" where Tod's owner abandons him in the forest.

I'm not sure how to explain this, but this game gives me a sour feeling... Like... Yeah, you've completed the game but so many died during your playthrogh... At what cost? And the "omitted memory" ending is the most sour - Mario gets forgotten by everyone, except Luigi... But even he forgets about him, because that's what Mario would want him to do, so he wouldn't suffer. Yes, this game is a masterpiece. But a very sour one. It leaves a weird feeling on you - you feel down and kind of want to cry, but you just simply can't. Its hard to explain it, really.

But some unfortunate events took him away from you... But I want you to remember something. Remember: He's somewhere up here, watching over you. Despite everything that happened with him... He's still... Him. He'll love you. Always. Even if he's not here anymore.
