to be honest I'm not a big fan of gospel music but I been a lady saw fan from day one and I been a marion hall fan from day one and I'm a big fan of her change!!!!! I'll support any of my favorite artist in anything positive they do. big up and nuff respect to Marion hall for just being herself and trying to make it thru this crazy world alil happier. 👍👍👍👍👍👍 when she come to new York ill be there front row just like I was when she was performing sycamore tree lol
People acting like she all of a sudden wants to do gospel. She always wanted to covert and everytime she tried she got no support with her music and wound up back on stage doing her slack music. She has finally done it and I am really really happy for her. For those of you saying it's because her body is sagging well she could sing and deejay without the vulgar performance but she chose gospel. She has the same energy on the stage only with more clothes on and no vulgarity. I think she is genuine and finally at peace. God bless you Marion.
Never heard of her under either name until I read an article about music in the Caribbean. She's available on iTunes, I'm going to buy her gospel music, it blesses me to hear her sing. Thank you Lord for saving us -- including me -- from a life of sin.

I LOVE MARION!!! I'm just still amazed seeing her in this capacity. She was the QUEEN_Slackest artist inna Dancehall for over 2 decades. So to see such a metamorphosis is startling. No whining on the cameraman, grabbing har front, cussing, chastising other women etc.. what a transformation.
It's absolutely amazing how much of a master strategist our God is. I don't know which other mainstream Gospel artiste could have gotten a headline performance at Rebel Salute or who would have felt comfortable enough to break the "religious" mold to go there. But our God chose her from among them and sent her back with a message for them. She knows the culture and still commands the respect and influence. Moses grew up as an Egyptian for 40 years,then he was driven into the desert to spend another 40 years learning the humility and patience of a shepherd's life before the Lord sent him back to Egypt. The Lord Jesus has stepped into the most major Rastafarian gathering in the world right now and has shown himself glorious. His chosen vessel was Lady Saw (Sister Marion Hall) HALLELUJAH!!! TO HIS NAME.
I FONDLY remember her FORMER stage name as she performed back in '95 in Harlem NYC. I AM SOOO HAPPY FOR HER RIGHT NOW.. SAVED AND SANCTIFIED. If She touches JUST 1 PERSON, She has done MORE than her job. GLORY BE TO ALMIGHTY GOD.
WHAT A TESTIMONY...Look at what the Lord has done. Im so happy for Marion. The naysayers can continue to criticize, but this woman has unspeakable joy - a joy that even you naysayers so desperately seek. Trust me, it can only come from knowing God.

This is tear jerking. This woman was at the pinnacle of her dancehall musical career and she dropped all of that for Christ. Thank you Jesus. She is just another one of the many examples we have that shows it matters not where we are or how low we may be just as long as we will obey and not harden our hearts when he calls we too can become new in him. When we let go because we are weak and frail he still holds us because He is Faithful. Man will fail but God NEVER fails. Thankyou for your testimony. This is how unbelievers will know of the True and living God. Jahovah. By The word of our testimony. And by our fruit. Our lifestyle. We are living epistles. God has set us apart. When you give yourself to HIM people will see a difference in you. God never gives up on us even when we give up on ourselves. It's when we realise that satan and his works, and those that follow him will come to nought, and we see how God himself has set us free, we should give HIM every part of ourselves (surrender) to HIM. When you know what God has done for you, how can you not thank and worship HIM? FELLOW BELIEVERS PLEASE DON'T TURN BACK. DON'T LET THE ENEMY SWAY YOU FROM YOUR FAITH. FROM SERVING HIM. WE ARE SO CLOSE TO HEAVEN NOW. Even when we are at our weakest point God makes us STRONG. There is so much darkness in the world but Jesus is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD. When we are born again, when we give up our old way of life and are repentant we are to live as light in this world. Just like JESUS. I pray he will keep us from falling. GIVE GOD THE GLORY.
