I'm happy this topic has finally been put to rest. Journalists spent more time asking questions about Mark's private affairs instead of talking about Westlife issues. Personally I'd have preferred him not to entertain anyone about his sex life. It's his life and none of anybody's business. And it should definitely not be entangled in Westlife music promos and marketing strategies. Kian, Nicky and Shane's private life with their wives is " private". So should Mark's relationship life.
It is so sad and wrong that any young man should suffer like he did just because of an intolerant and bigoted society and industry. I would have liked to ask the other lads what they think and feel knowing now how Mark suffered in silence for so long because he feared their rejection of him. The worst IS the agents, managers, producers etc. Whether music, sports or acting....they all threaten, warn and intimidate men into silence lest they lose their careers. What I have NEVER understood nor will I ever is if you like a musical group, individual singer, actor etc. What the hell does it matter who they want a relationship with? It doesn’t change how they look, sound or act. Just enjoy their talent. The rest is nobody’s business.
yeah same. it was so damn long and hard but we have to wait and be patience cuz the struggle to come out is so hard and long. When the time has come, they'll come out and be a couple they are.
aww i dont care if someone is gay or not westlife band works very hard for what they have every person should be able to live there dreams and have a freedom to be who they want to be and judging that on any term is just unfair he seems like such a nice person if people have trouble with excepence then that is there issue and not the person who just wants to be themselves😊
I can tell he is still uncomfortable about this. Looking at his body language he is struggling, although his words are stating what he feels. He is afraid of being judged by the world. Over time he will find his voice and eventually become more confident in his life choice.
