​@user-gm4bn7ql6u . They are a young party, caught on the hop, by a snap election called 5 months earlier than expected. They don't have all their systems in place, but are working miracles with what they do have. With the momentum now rising in their favour, they are attracting funding now, which will help oil the wheels enough to get them into parliament, if not as the ruling government - which they don't expect to be, but as the opposition against the WEF in the form of the Labour Party. The more successful they become, the more they will attract the right people into the party. Personally, I believe the silent majority - and some not so silent, have got behind Reform, because we are sick of all the corruption and the theft from above, that keep us in struggle and strife. Obviously, the media, the tool of those that run everything, are doing everything to quell this uprising of the people via Reform, led by Farage, but they didn't expect a tidal wave of support from us , behind him. So it is even possible that we may win this election, despite everything being against us. Hop on the bus with us, or Remain behind in denial. The choice is yours to be a part of it or not. Raising minimum wage just creates inflation (the employer passes their increased costs onto their customers) and unemployment (the employer lets go staff they can no longer employ). Immigration is under cutting British citizens wages even more because employers are seeing immigrants as being are more willing to work in the grey market for cash in hand jobs like domestic cleaners, unregistered child carers, barbers and fast food delivery people. The size of the grey employment market is unknown but as long as employers believe sub-minimum wage work exists there is no incentive for employers to increase their employees wages.

​@KSReform 1 American economist suggested that minimum wage creates more poverty as it keeps people stuck and doesn't increase prosperity for those stuck in this earnings bracket Can't remember details as it was awhile ago I listened to him.

@@carolynellis387 Minimum wage just creates an illusion of wealth because it does not change the relative wealth of the lowest paid against those who earn more. It also gives employers an excuse to keep wages low as possible (or layoff people). Increasing the tax threshold does help the lowest paid as it puts more money in their paycheck without an additional cost to the employer. Yes, tax revenue is lost but it stimulates the economy in the right places because lower paid people are the most efficient spenders in the economy because they have to be.
