A summary on the 5 HSBC rules: 1. Carry trade/Swaps/Intraday differential - They tend to buy the highest yielding currencies (US, CAD, AUS). 2. Monetary policy trajectory - Who’s expected to be more hawkish, buy that currency and sell the more dovish currency . 3. Moving averages (A confirmation to get in). - 4 & 40 Day moving averages. 4. Get into the most undervalued currency on a 60 day look-back period. 5. Valuation models. (REEL valuation model)

I loved the interaction between you two. Humble, respectful and full of fundamental gems. I follow the same data like GDP, Inflation /interest rates, geopolitics, regulations, Wall St action for Bitcoin. Same applies to forex, stocks, commodities. Starting to look at how bonds, treasuries, t-bills, guilds operate. Unfortunately traditional finance is based on debt. I suspect a lot of these bonds etc are going to be tokenised and absorbed into the crypto market via the ETF's. A win win for the Fed, a lose lose for the retail investor.
Mark was really good. I learned more from his brief, offcut, notes on FX fundamentals then from watching 10 other videos. I'll definitely watch this episode twice.

Unbelievable podcast, he’s so right about fundamentals are key I feel technicals normally line up with fundamentals so this give me more confidence to enter trades prior to news etc, I did have a really good understanding about technicals and a profitable strategy but I have a mentor now that teachers me fundamentals for the last year and it’s excelled my progress, to the point I’d feel blind trading without fundamentals

ICT already described this trading in his position trading charter model. Where he talked about the 60 day IPDA data range look back and SMT (DIVERGENCE) but for him there has to be a run on stop either the 60 day low or high and a coupled with other confirmation factors.
I had to watch the podcast two times even it was long but the value of this information has changed the whole way of looking at the market. Technical analysis by it self doesn’t work and I need to read more about what is happening in the financial markets etc.
It all makes sense at the banks just move money around so they look for VALUE AREAS where there is VOLUME. As retail trader it’s simply better to ride the waves where the BANKS are stepping in. ❤ This one was long overdue 🔥👌. Thank you Riz & SFT for another podcast to provide with insights. 🔥💎
Its crazy to me that so many people have no idea how fundamentals and news work towards the market ! If you havent learned fundamental analysis then you have no business trading because its literally the first step to learning trading i.e. how the market works
