I've done a lot of cool stuff, made amazing friends, and still, one of the things I was proudest of was the fact Mark freaking Hamill once liked a Tweet of mine. Nothing extraordinary, it was just a comment about how people always call the monster Frankenstein, when that was the Dr. I made some joke I can't remember, and then a short time later I not I over that Mark had liked it. Blue check mark and everything. I may never meet the actors who okayed the roles of my childhood heroes, but at the very least I had a minor connection with one of them over Frankensteins Monster. And you're 100% correct. I don't think I've ever heard a story about a fan having a bad encounter with him. He's giving, kind, stands up for those who can't stand for themselves, funny, charming. The more I think about it, the more I realize he is perhaps my favorite person in film history. Tremendous human being.

@@snerdterguson Mark Hamill is supremely awesome because he knows how much his roles mean to fans. While other actors may lament some of their former roles because they hate being type casted, Mark has fun with his former roles because he knows how big an impact he had on so many of us who grew up watching Batman or idolizing Luke Skywalker.

I'm a straight male and honestly, I kinda got a crush on him too. Such a great person who is so giving, kind, willing to stand up for what he believes in, funny and you never hear a bad word about him. Every time I hear a story about him meeting fans, spending time with someone who needs a pick me up. Every single story makes us love him more. Isn't it terrific that the guy who played Luke Skywalker shares the qualities that made Luke a hero?
