He begins by saying that he doesn't care about the argument, he does not want to get involved in the argument, he is tired of the argument, but this is only so he is able to make his remarks and opinions within the context of the argument known and then distance himself, as though he is impartial and above it all. If he did not want to be a part of the GOAT argument, he should have said the 1st half of what he said and been finished. I think Mark missed the point. If you add 6 new teams, the talent may be the same but the organizations won’t be as good as the organizations that have been in place for decades. That’s just a fact.

In the ‘90s 4 teams were added to the NBA. 12 players on each team. 48 players. Since 2000 they’ve only add one. And 5 roster spots to every team. 162 players. Last time I checked 162 is more than 48. The league has been more watered down since Lebron entered NBA than it was during Jordan’s playing career

He sent the Jazz to the Finals with a three against the Rockets the year prior. My point is people don’t really understand the pressure when hitting shots like that. LeBron was shooting 41% from three this year but when he was wide open in Game 2 against Denver, he bricked it like Stockton bricked that three in 1998. It shows how great Michael Jordan was. Having 23 teams means the talent was more condensed into 23 teams rather than 30, so there was more talent per team than there is today. As they added teams, the quality dropped to where it is today. There isn't more talent these days then there was in the 80s and 90s. It is just more spread out today.
