Mark Kermode reviews The Hangover Part 3

Man, this was hilarious. I don't think I've ever seen Kermode so.... empty inside from the experience of watching a movie. One thing I love about him is how expressive he is, even when what he's expressing is how empty he feels. I have never seen the Hangover movies and I probably never will, but I get my enjoyment from watching Kermode reviewing this stuff.

I actually like terrible movies because I get to see the funniest reviews from Kermode.

How was Mark supposed to gather himself during the clip when it was the clip that was annihilating him?

Kermode has the look and demeanour of "Do i really have to review this tosh"

There will be more. They'll leave it for 10 years and then cash in a nostalgia ticket with "Hangover: The Reunion". These things, they never really die.

Personally, I thought the Red Letter Media review was more incisive. I am now reviewing the reviews of a film I refuse to see. Hooray for Hollywood.

Nothing worse than watching a movie and walking out feeling the same way you walked in.

Kermode opening lines on the hangover movies: Hangover 1: "*sigh*...yeah. umm..." Hangover 2: "Apparently, in the case of the hangover, it was the highest grossing R rated film. Uh, ya know, to date *fart noise*..." Hangover 3: "mmm...*sigh*"...

Actors in film look completely souless. Perhaps this is the best tragedy ever put to film.

The Hangover was a very funny and very clever film. Hangover 2 had it's moments, even if it was basically a cruder and darker copy of the original, and Hangover 3 was basically an attempt to make it fresh and original, but it ended up being barely a comedy and too far removed from the movie we fell in love with. A good sequel should remind audiences why the original was so good, whilst delivering something new and fresh. But unfortunately like H2 and H3, sequels are more often than not, either amped up versions of the original or a film that's so different, it alienates fans of the original.

Simon's knowledge of NIN was rather surprising. As for the film being dull, well that really isn't at all surprising.

I thought at first that I would have to comment to tell them Hurt is a Nine Inch Nails song... Such petty feelings.

Glad that mayo was knowledgeable about Hurt. I mean johnny cash did a wonderful version of it, but lets not remember its' true parentage - trent reznor is the true genius behind it.

That clip tho ... “that ink that went up inside you” 😂 Oh shit.

They brought back Heather Graham for this one to get fans onside...and she's a borderline cameo. Con job alert!

I think the review is spot-on. I liked the first one, hated the sequel and wound up hating even more this one.

I liked hangover one and two this does look a but dull though. They should have done one in Europe somewhere like Berlin or Amsterdam

Why show that clip? There were funnier parts than that. I liked it.

I was actually one of those people that really enjoyed the Hangover and thought that it was the funniest movie of the year. However, with the Hangover Part II, I was hugely disappointed by the movie. From the plot of the movie and seeing that it is supposed to close the trilogy, I just think they should've made Part III instead of Part II due to the story as second one felt like a filler story.

Did Mark get fined for dead air?

I can't wait for the review of Transformers 4.

Well you won't find many people with a better educated opinion . And opinion is the operative word here .

wouldn't recommend kermode's reviews for a movie as over the top as this. regardless of how much the public enjoys the franchise he'll never say anything to make you wan't to see it

I loved this movie

Not even disappointed? Wow- it sure sounded like it. I guess it's just another harmless (albeit useless) threequel. They could have done worse, in other words, which is at least better than I was expecting... though I'm sure they could have salvaged the franchise by somehow cleverly and bravely subverting our expectations. But that might be too much to ask for.

It seems watching this film has sapped Mark's Lifeforce ha ha. I don't understand the popularity of these films either.

While I share Mark's dislike of the Hangover-movies, I still wonder how he could like another gross-out humor movie like Bridesmaids?

I remember watching these movies when I was part of the target audience. I enjoyed the first film if I'm being honest, but the second and third films were absolutely awful. It's another example of making films because your last one did well financially. 2 and 3 were just bland and unfunny
