Sort of a country sound here a little bit. Subject matter is interesting, sounds kind of like the stock car circuit touring in America. Last three or so minutes are great, that slowly building guitar in low pitched tones…
The playout evokes cars hurtling around a track, changing gear, weaving around others, even more so if you ever have the good fortune to see Mark and the band play it live where it really hits you like a wall of sound.
@@mickeyhank there are a few recordings of Mark and the band playing it live. Obviously it's not the same as actually being there but they do give you a sense of the difference from the studio recording. I saw this one the other day: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kI51WkVV0eU.html. It's one of those songs where the whole band joins in regardless of what instrument they play and yet it all hangs together perfectly. The sheer amount of talent is incredible. I hope we'll both get to see Mark again one day after the current strife is over.
