To have the strength to make yourself so vulnerable is a very Godly mentally. I never knew what happened to Lando, but listening to this whole podcast was not only enlightening but extremely inspirational. Glad to see and hear he is doing so well. Absolute icon.
Can relate a lot to the highs and lows. Really appreciate Landy being so transparent. I'll be celebrating a year sober next month. Gotta say my life has changed dramatically for the better over this past year. Super grateful the bomb hole exists!
Dude I have been threw the mental issues (and I know that sounds sketch) but honestly just that you know it was happening shows so much and that you are still ok. I hope you find the help and support you need, you have been a legend in my eyes for so many years I cant even count. I wish I had 1 day like the thousands you have experienced, but I know there is no way to make this just go away without serious help and I hope you get it with all the resources you have, because I have none and have had to battle it alone. what a great episode thanks Mark for sharing one thing I learned is ptsd is def something anyone can go through from a traumatic experience and it's not talked about enough

Lando’s stoke gets me hyped to ride. Loved his antics in That’s It That’s All. I remember inviting all the dudes over and watching it like a video premiering in my parents basement. Shit was so fucking rad. We were screaming at the tv. Lando was a huge influence on my snowboarding today 🤙🤙🤙🤙

Been self medicating with soo much shit all my life and every time i try to stop I end up in what you describing. Inspired to have a go with my demons once again now. Thank you! First off, Lando...what a fucking LEGEND!!! Second, I'm a HUGE moto fan, would even say more than a snowboarding fan even tho snowboarding has been my LIFE since I was in the 4th grade (now 33 years old), and for YEARS I've been saying (think i may of even made a comment like this on Bereman's episode) that to me, there are TWO tricks that are not only TIMELESS, but also the "easiest" tricks but also the HARDEST tricks!! And that's Method's and Whip's!!! Just about anyone who does either sport can do one, but VERY few can make jaws drop when done right!!! I've always called Method's "Winter Whip's" and Whip's "Mechanical Method's". When done right, I don't give a fuck, there is NOTHING that competes with them!!! I'll take a Method (or back 1) over any triple/quad cork and I'll take Whips over flips ANY day!!! So with all of that being said, my opinion, Lando and Lynn HAND"S DOWN BEST methods!!! Best SWITCH Methods, Danny D in the pipe and Lando off booter's!!!! I can't even wrap my head around doing a switch method...I straight up think I'd have a better chance at landing a dub/trip cork or switch 270/450 down a fucking triple kink then even grabbing a switch method let alone making it look good!!!
Of course he can get threw it though because he has amazing friends like T Rice that can show him the best day ever anytime. I dont have a friend. Not a friend that is incredible, I dont have one friend that is still alive or if they are they are balls deep in family and love and things ill never know. Im glad he has found his landing but a lot of us are flailing in the air just waiting for the hardest impact of our lives and we dont have a heli, or even a friend on a sled that is watching to make sure I make it out. This is so heavy and you guys have so many friends that you could never understand what this hell is.
This is a heavy one guys. I’ve listened to most of your conversations because they are as close to the real life of snowboarding that the internet has to offer. But more so about life, addiction, what is healthy, and what is not. I can’t share my story in a comment obviously, but I can say that you guys have put together the beat fucking podcast channel that I’ve ever come across.
