Mark's had a bit of coffee before the show started... it's called a Buick Regal in the USA maybe thats why....still I don't know who's going buy it and $34,000 for the base model you might as well just called it Opel Insignia not a real Commodore and already its got to be recalled due to not good seatbelts 26/ 04 /18.. also Dick Johnson has announced they're going to Go with a Mustang .... this is going to make it interesting for the poor little opal
GMH took a shitty German car and reengineered it into a shitty Australian car. BUT a lot better than what it started as. Now we just get the shitty German car. Which are thin on the ground in Europ as well. Meanwhile Bimmers and Audis everywhere.
Not a Commodore, its a Opel Insignia. Road version is FWD 4 pot, or NA V6, nothing like race car which has V8. You cant buy V8 Insignia. So give it up Mark.
Where were those days that road and racing versions had the same kind of drivetrains? Now Nissan Altimas and Holden ZB Commodore have laid insults to V8 Supercar fans.
Interesting info, it's a shame they make all the cars the same these days. It makes the races very dull and hard to get interested in. Bring back proper factory racing, race what you produce.
Sorry, the fundamental difference is not the fact, that it is a hatchback. It has pathetic engines, auto only transmission and offered only in FWD or AWD.
Drive these embarassment to the holden name to the tip...while they still run! If we wanted a disposable car like this we might as well buy a hyundai or Kia, they are about 2/3rds the price and have more street cred!
