Shout out Mark Normand for mentioning Warren Day. Warren was the shit. Every bit of the legend mark said he was. Maybe not 7 foot tall 😂😂 but he was a phenomenal skater and a great guy. He sadly and unexpectedly passed away a few years ago on New Year’s Eve. A major loss to the New Orleans skate community. Rip Wo Day

Warren Day actually died on New Years eve a few years ago when he fell off a balcony. I'm so stoked to hear his legacy is still remembered. When I moved to NOLA and started working at Humidity, when Stephen owned it, Warren was one of the first guys I went skateboarding with and he was so welcoming. Dude was the illest, straight up.

He actually died at Balcony bar on magazine street in New Orleans. Apparently he tried to do a handstand on the balcony railing and slipped. RIP WO. legends never die

Both funny guys that skate, but not true comedians. Mark is an actual comedian. Even the few lil quickies on this episode were hilarious. They mostly use their past drugged up stories for their comedy. Which is fine and It’s still funny but not true comedic value. Just my opinion, no hate. Love ya’ll skate fam!!

I’ve been a huge follower of the east coast comedy scene, and a major skateboarding fan for decades - I never would’ve thought those two worlds would meet, so this is amazing and I’m glad Mark is getting more exposure to modern skateboarding.

Great interview. Mark Normand is one of my recently (2 years) found comedians. I’m a Iraq veteran on disability and I’m 2019 I decided to do open mic comedy, purely as an experiment as a life challenge. No comedy background or desire for a ‘career’ (fuck I’m 56 years old). Anyway from 2019-2021, I did open mic comedy and the silence of clubs and bar patrons is so tough. Yet, I fucking loved the pressure, the tension and the occasional success. Look over the two or so years of regular open mic spots, roughly 120 five minute spots I killed it once, sucked cocks 110 spots and the rest mediocre laughs and occasional chuckle. Again I did it purely to feel the stand up experience and it was one of the most worthwhile and life growing experiences.

I'm 45 years old and still love skating and I like watching this show as well to see some very interesting interviews that can sometimes bring on the feeling if nostalgia.
