I like him, he seems a lovely guy, but I find his voice whiny....like he has phlegm at the back of his throat...but I do like the track I think it will be a hit...
I get what you're saying. Mark's voice is not everyone's cup of tea. I think that's one of the reasons why his solo career never really took off commercially compared to Gary Barlow's and certainly Robbie Williams'. I like his voice though. It has a certain edge to it and it's distinctive. It gives a special flavor to some of the Take That tunes as well. Check out "SOS", "Kidz" and "Superstar". His voice fits perfectly with these more serious songs.
