Tranmere Rovers Chairman Mark Palios has provided an update on his and the Club's position with regards to completing the 2019/20 season. TICKETS: www.trfctickets.co.uk SHOP: www.trfcshop.co.uk
Wise words as ever Mr Palios. I think relegation should happen when a team is clearly cut adrift,by something like 10 points, like Bolton and Southend were when matches stopped, but obviously not in Tranmere's case, especially when after 3 straight wins the team had a great chance of surviving. I don't think Bolton and Southend could complain about being relegated when they're so far adrift
I hope a compromise can be reached that benefits the fans, staff and players of each of the league one teams and hopefully for the 20/21 season we (Rovers) can continue the progress we started to make and get to at least the play-off in 20/21.
Good info from Mark but it’s all money based the EFL want the money from play offs to offset the money they have already paid for tv rights when no games have been shown on tv for 2 months , otherwise tv companies will be asking for money back
Clubs only want what is best for themselves. Tranmere are going down with PPG so he clearly doesn’t want it. If they were mid table he wouldn’t give two shits what happens. Accept you deserve to be relegated and don’t waffle about how you are the ‘form team’ in the league in 21st place.
