Are you guys moved in yet? Congratulations and we would love to get together sometime. We can meet at sawgrass: we are there at least a few nights a week just to enjoy the nightlife. It’s a great area that will just get better as time goes on.

@scottthomson, We second getting D’Angelo Inspections too!! Super great experience!! Very efficient & quick responses. We moved here to TV from Birmingham, Al last May to Villages of St John’s & booked inspection for the end of March during June. Super great experience and everyone has responded quickly to repairing our warranty work!! We moved with two 14 year old cats and they adjusted well after 6 weeks. They love the lanai, we call it the catio!! Welcome to living your Best Life❤️😍

Thanks for watching. The pricing varies widely based on combinations of lot size and location as well as stretches that are available on various models. It also can depend on build type. Block, which is manly available as resale and “build your dream home” where you buy the lot. If you buy a presale or spec built you can chose vinal or tilt up contribution. I would start researching now. Just approval and permits can take weeks. Most vendors, at least good ones; seem to be 3-6 months out. Not sure if that changes in certain months? Depending on what your looking for also. Most companies seem to have their own style. Some only offer 7ft distance between posts and some can do 57 foot panoramic views with no posts to block view. Good luck and let us know if we can provide more info. We expect landscaper to start in the next few weeks and working with cage company that will put footers in for cage.

@@MPBTHEVILLAGESFLORIDA great info Mark, we will contact the ‘Enhance your Dream’ team in the villages to get their list of reputable bird cage vendors. Since we too have a water view, I like the idea of a 57 foot panoramic view.

Did a ton of that and finally made a decision just a week ago. Now it’s cross our fingers and hope our vision doesn’t turn into a contractor nightmare. So far I have a good feeling from both we chose but time will tell. If they do good work I will share their info. If not I will also share their info. 😳 Just trying to keep it real. Thanks for watching and thanks for the input. I kind of had to go with my gut at the end of the day. I probably run about over 80% to the positive when I do that. Not cheap. 💰💰💰💰💰💰 We did expect to spend a fair amount but probably double what we expected. But if you knew us it wouldn’t surprise you. 🤦‍♂️ I kind of blame us driving around and getting a bunch of ideas. Obviously cost of goods, staffing and cost of staffing are all major issues. As a business owner I can appreciate it. I am fine paying a fair price if I get quality workmanship and quality service. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. I will know more in the next few months. 🤞

We had them build. We purchased the lot and chose the home.

We drove here from SoCal last November. We planned 10 days but arrived two days early so stayed at the Waterfront Inn at Lake Sumter Landing for two nights until our rental was available. We took Interstate 10 the whole route, and it was an easy drive. Good luck! We bought our new home in DeLuna on day 3 after we arrived, closed on 12/15, and moved in on 12/30. We love it here, but it’s been a lot of work getting our home set up and furnished as we pretty much got rid of everything before we moved, and are starting over. No regrets. 😊

They have worked fairly fast but did require a follow up call. They are currently working on it. We hope their fix works. The flooring “was within limits” I have not decided to make a bigger issue of it yet. Considering a inspector service to come in sooner than later.

That’s all the info I have. I do know there’s some controversy regarding the similarity between this company, and another company name. We had a great experience.

Pam did shop there. She is figuring out what places are best for certain things. She still feels Costco has the best meat selection.
