IMO, a great defense attorney can defend his client and present his case without being an a**hole to the witnesses, especially the mother of the victim. What’s with all the smug chuckling when asking her questions. She looks at him like she wishes she could throat punch him.
@@lionswimmer4637 I agree. He didn't seem like he was trying to come off negatively or mockingly. He seemed very patient and friendly, given the circumstances.
Defense lawyer is doing his job. I think it will backfire though. I feel the Jury will dislike him. Not that it will matter. I can't see Mark getting away with it. Mark may very well have been trying to connect with Dylan. That doesn't mean Dylan wanted to connect with him. Dylan wanted to see him so bad that he wanted to go to his friends the first night. Apparently Mark said No. Dylan was already upset. This would have made him even more so. I'm sure the tension was very high that night. If I was in Dylan's shoes. I would be so mad this would be the opportune time to make him aware of his knowledge of the crap eating photos. Mark likely lost it. Thankfully for Dylan's family this chapter will soon be over. Hopefully with the Jury making the right decision.
@@BlargBlather not sinister, more disrespectful. He did it yesterday as well to the bear expert. On one li e of questioning he mentioned her expertise and chuckled. That's not putting someone at ease in my opinion.
She did what any mother would do if there child was missing. No one will fault or blame her for confronting him he was the last to see her son. The jury will see right through the defense
Everyone complaining about the cameras - read the description - judge didn’t want any cameras but then decided only one stationary one the courthouse placed due to the pandemic so it would limit too many people in courtroom
Both attorneys spoke quickly to the witness Carrie Cochrane, after acknowledging that she was deaf and that they'd speak more slowly so she can understand. *eye roll*
If this defense attorney doesn’t stop laughing during his questioning….I am going to scream! And while he’s at it….can he also stop swallowing the entire mic every time objects. Get your act together, sir.
All this badgering of Elaine regarding to whom she said Mark was responsible is ridiculous. All there doing is trying to make it look like everyone is piling up on poor disgusting Mark. How will he be able to get a fair trial. Wah! Wah! Wah! His lawyers have to get up there and say something. Even if it amounts to nothing.
It only appears that way in the view of attorney/witness on the right. If you look at the view on the left that is the courtroom view. You can see mom in left hand corner by judge. Defense attorneys/defendant are across the room from her on the right side.
Mark was apparently into some kinky stuff and during a previous visit, Dylan found photos of Mark wearing a diaper and eating feces. Dylan shared that information with his mother I think
And always walking away from the mic. Very frustrating to not hear the questions. And defense attorney says "um" way too much for someone always talking in a court of law...jmho
I’ve seen numerous trials where they don’t share what’s on the screen...but you can google Mark redwine photos to see the pics shown and I believe you can search for Mark Redwine evidence, there is a site that shows all the evidence.
I think it’s because he was trying to be nonchalant, like he just couldn’t find him at the moment but would soon, kind of thing, trying to make it not a big deal.....unless he is just a super huge idiot and didn’t realize you don’t text about a missing child lol.....actually it’s probably the latter.
Omg! Did they NOT prep the mom at all?!’ Is she trying super hard to be difficult and evasive?!! Because she’s coming off like she just is completely clueless and she wants to make grr prosecution’s job HARDER! Geesh! Ridiculous! It almost seems like she doesn’t want justice for her son. I just don’t get it.
It was 9 years ago! Are you seriously expecting her to remember every minute detail? times and dates, and a million different interviews with lots of investigators, tons of seemingly insignificant comments that she didn't know would be important! After 9 years, no one is going to remember all that stuff nor be able to memorize it. That's the whole point of statements so you can look back and see what was said back then. She remembers that her son died and his father killed him.
