Love Coach Richt. Love that Coach Smart gives him his due respect.

UK fan here. First of all, I love how he treats coach richt. Second of all, why is Smart so cool and respectful towards us? Georgia is by far the coolest towards UK fans and I honestly think that means a lot coming from the gold standard of college football. Hope it’s a hell of a game and everyone stays safe. Y’all are the measuring stick and I’m excited to see how we match up. Praying for Coach Richt and that baby girl. Kids should never have to battle any illness

I always have and always will LOVE COACH MARK RICHT! He is a fine Christian man, husband, father, and now...grandfather. He deserves all the respect in the world from us UGA fans. (Didn't realize he had such a GREAT sense of humor...I laughed out loud at some of his comments). God bless Coach Richt, his family, and his endeavors.

You don’t get a better man than Coach Richt. I wish we could’ve brought him a championship, but even without one, he’s one of the greatest coaches and leaders of men, I’ve ever seen.

What CMR lacked in national championships, he made up tenfold in class and building character in the players. Such a great leader for the program.

Bigger then football. FYI I'm from Lexington KY. I bleed blue like crazy. One thing I've always respected about UGA is the class that the coaches and fans have always carried. Go Cats. But this is just awesome. So much respect. God Bless from Lexington.

A young man went to UGA from the town I was living in. He blew out an ACL his senior season and Coach Richt still honored his scholarship. Brought him in and healed him up then he blew out his other ACL. Coach Richt still honored his scholarship. There is no finer man than him in my opinion. Very proud to have had him as our coach. God bless him and his family!!!

Man, how wholesome.... I remember the Richt era of football. Some of the biggest names. Damian Swann, Bavari Rambo, Jarvis Jones, Alec Ogletree, Gurley, Aaron Murray, Matthew Stafford. People need to appreciate Coach Smart for what he's doing here at UGA. People don't realize we living in the golden days of Georgia Football! God bless you Coach Richt!

Tennessee Volunteer here. Much respect for coach Richt. Always respected him as a coach. Bringing the whole team on the field after scoring the touchdown against Florida was coaching brilliance. That was masterclass. Set the tone and mentally beat Florida when they were rolling. Great coach!!!

Coach Richt is THE MAN! Love all of the great things he did for the University of Georgia. The ultimate ambassador. 2:52 oh man, that was a great quip from CMR delivered almost in Norm Macdonald like fashion. A shame he had to deal with the suspensions of AJ Green and Todd Gurley that totally derailed those seasons.

CMR what a class act, he did so much for the dawgs and all the young men he coached!

I'm not going to lie I love coach Mark richt. I'm glad he didn't leave the cover bear for Kirby in his first year. You helped with that 86-15 record that's better than Bear Bryant,Pete Carroll,Nick Saban in their first hundred games as head coach! Kirby has the best record of any College football Coach in their first hundred games! That's a pretty good collection of coaches to be named with!

I might have disagreed with some of the decisions CMR made on the field but he's always had my utmost respect as a good man.

Richt was a victim of the BCS era nonsense. They would have made the college football playoffs at least two or three times in his tenure. Might have played for a natty or two.

I love Coach Richt I also love Coach smart but Mark Richt will always be loved in dog nation. I grew up watching him coach Georgia on the sidelines. Now I’m 25 wow times have changed. Coach Richt is a great man. I’ve heard a lot of good things about him helping people when he coached at Georgia one thing specifically I heard about coach is one time It was raining real hard and coach gave those kids a ride so they wouldn’t get wet That’s a great man

If this does not make you proud to be a Georgia fan, you need to check your pulse. It's a new and outstanding era for Georgia Bulldog football but everyone is involved in Bulldog nation needs to know it takes a village to build a legacy.

Mark should've been in a couple National Championship games with UGA. It didn't work out, but he was a fine coach and is an even better person.

I am a UK fan and always liked Coach Richt, good man , as for the game Saturday I think this will be a good hard hitting physical games, Bowers is a freak athlete, I think UK is closing the gap but UGA still has too many studs so I think the line is about right , always have respected UGA football,

As a Bama fan I really don't see the hate for this team other than they beat us, and that's just people being sore losers. Such great people all over the team, especially Coach Smart & Richt.

From a Bama fan ole Mark Richt was a darn good coach I don’t care what anybody says and he done a fantastic job during his tenure at Georgia. Kirby has done great but Richt put the motor in the car all Kirby had to do was get it running
