Unfortunately it looks like Brum could be going down … no Cov fan likes to see that after all the help they gave Coventry when it looked like the Sky Blues might be down and out…. Both teams desperately need points and I think it’s going to be a scrappy game… PUSB 🤞🤞
With Tats out, we lack a natural winger. Wright is makeshift on the left, MVE and Tavares are makeshift on the right. No formation that MR can muster really cuts the ice - but given all the shortcomings, I'd prefer MVE right back and Tavares ahead of him. Eccles has grown immensely this season, but Torp is a more accomplished player, with a better range of passing and more incisive vision, and should start alongside Sheaf.
Do Coventry give a helping hand to the club that loaned them the use of their ground? You bet they will. P.S. Pretty good prediction, I'd say, after today's debacle.
I really want to see Tavares come on and play on the left hand side rather than the right as every time he plays on the left he looks far better and far more exciting than on the right, when on the left he takes on and scares defenders
Can’t honestly recall him on the left…I’d prefer him on the right or through the middle, in all honesty. His deep, curled crosses from the right are a menace, I think he’s been working on it in training.
If MR is keeping the same formation I’d like to see Haji benched this game, and Tavares on. Really want to see Torp in also, and Ben Wilson back after Collins howler last game. I assume Ben will also play v Utd ?.. He’s our cup keeper..
Collins played against wolves. BC made a howler against Southampton, but he's better overall, you feel more confident when he's in goal, Wilson doesn't communicate with his box.
II have lost all respect for Mark Robins and never knew he was such a liar because he just said Blues have some really good players. I am a Blues fan and believe me we are totally shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite.
