Everything about this is perfect. The purple sky in the background. Mark Ronson playing with his eyes closed showing pure passion. The backing singers. And of course the beautiful voice of Yebba. It’s spiritual and pure effortless beauty.
You are sooo right!!! The entire scenario is surreal and soothing, yet empowering. And the vocalists add to the beauty of this moment. They all use their voices like instruments, complimenting the piano, yet each impacting the listener. Wow.
Hear, hear. this is a moment, right?! Visually stunning setting. the song, the voices , the synergy - caught it on Glastonbury 2019's best bits an hour into 2020. Here's to many more moments of effortless artistry in this new decade. An antidote to the tribalism and disunity in the world today.
I've just bought an Amazon Echo Studio and OMG they are loud!!!! I can't stop listening to this through the speaker. This version of this song is fantastic!!! Much prefer it slower like this than the song on the album. This is brilliant & looks great with Mark enjoying every second on his keyboard & the amazing views here!
yeah thanks for this, it's been awhile since an artist has left me speechless and mute. This track on the album is an absolute standout I had on repeat since it dropped, but YEBBA's solo stuff knocked me off my feet.
Haven't a clue who she is . Her voice is amazing , some range she has! Looks so natural and effortless almost . She looks great too , natural , gorgeous and herself . I hope the Industry doesn't try to change her . Super discovery for me , what a voice and energy from her .
@@1w598 did it ever occur to you she actually prefers the look she has rather than feeling it necessary to cake on a shit ton of make up and wear a skimpy outfit? You're a fucking moron plain and simple.
Imagine Adele and Yebba on 1 song. Just 1 song..together. 🙏🏾The thought of it makes me emotional. Discovered Yebba last year on Instagram. I agree as others have said. You need to listen to her song Mind. You will be blown away. Reminds me of the first time I heard Amy Winehouse on The Box UK cable music show...you know Yebba is something special.
Her real name is Abbey Smith but her stage name is Yebba (abbeY) backwards. I dont know her ethnic heritage though, just that she sings a lot of gospel soul type music.
The reason Glastonbury exists, for those moments that are true beauty .....been going for decades, and still i get blown away by the performances that define the spirit of what music is really about, sublime ....and the highlight of the weekend for me, just astonishing.
this is the truth. They absolutely crush. i hope they got a fat paycheck and a bunch of time in the limelight if they want it 2:15 ?? they should in a hall of fame somewhere

Love the live version so much more! It is so easy to overproduce a voice like hers. It is so beautiful and unique that the music needs to leave her voice room to breathe and play. This version does that amazingly well.
Just sitting chilling last night, about to transfer to BBC 4 to catch the rest of Liam Gallagher, the retro piano groove pricked my ears, I paused, then she started singing, completely stopped me in my tracks. By the end I was ever so.slightly blown away. Amazing, never heard of the girl.
Me too ..... exactly that, about to flick over and watch the rest of Liam, instead, i bolted upstairs to our bedroom where my partner wss having a bath, flicked this on the TV, she came out of the bath and stood there like me transfixed ! ..... stunning, and beautiful in every way.
Straight out of Arkansas, this girl grew up in the church, a preacher's kid. She can flat "sang", I love that Brits are being introduced. She's so underrated, a true generational talent, love her.
Tell me, baby, what's on your heart? 'Cause I've been wondering around in your dark, yeah I've got way too many questions, always learning lessons Loving too hard Give me just a second to breathe 'Cause you've been turning all the tables on me, yeah Whenever you would get up in your feelings, I would always listen Now you turn around and leave Oh, if we fall apart, let's do it in the dark Hit me in the heart this time Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you (Won't forgive you) Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I can't forget you (Can't forget you) I toss and turn alone in my bed When you should be laying here beside me instead Oh, don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you, forgive you, forgive you this time Tell me if this love is a lie 'Cause the ticking time is passing me by, babe I'm waiting, but the second hand is turning Burning all the circles in my mind, eh Anticipating 'cause you know I'm never satisfied And I don't want to hear the reasons why, why, why we fight, eh Oh, if we fall apart, let's do it in the dark Hit me in the heart this time Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you (Won't forgive you) Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I can't forget you (Can't forget you) I toss and turn alone in my bed When you should be laying here beside me instead Oh, don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you, forgive you, forgive you this time Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you Oh, don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forget you Oh, I toss and turn alone in my bed When you should be laying here beside me instead Oh, don't you leave me lonely 'Cause I won't forgive you, forgive you, forgive you this time
Astounding voice and in the location of Glasto incredible. Imagine singine like that in that vast space. Every time I view this video it is like the first time I saw it. I was moved to tears it was so striking, and still is now in 2022.
Literally playing this on repeat since I’ve heard it. Her vocals are unreal. Have also discovered her song called my mind which is also one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen anywhere by anyone?!
Mark Ronson, bringing the gems, since Nika Costa's "Like A Feather". Yebba, has legendary written on this performance, and a generation to come. Thank you, great musicians. Historic.
Was actually flicking through Glasto highlights programmes and stopped on this for a few seconds and was blown away. Rewinded it again and again and then started looking at her other stuff. Totally blown away by her voice can't wait for her album she sends shivers when I hear her sing.
I want to say "She's baaaack!", but the truth is that I've kept so much of her past performances on instant replay that it's like she never left. I'm hyper excited to add to my Yebba playlist! Awesome vocals, Abbey!
