At the end of the 6th frame, after he missed the red into the centre, did Selby concede by hitting the Green with his cue? Was that a bit off? It wasn't his shot anymore. Judd had been a bit off his game, maybe he would have liked to get a bit of practice clearing up.
I think his target was to become a World Champion ..which he became as before that he was really going all in doing whatever it took he got a lot of hate due to his style of play but his strategy worked. I think he now just plays to probably earn nd because he can. Don't see much determination for winning the championship.
Trump has developed into a powerhouse ,, don't know who will beat him now .. maybe a good time for Ronnie to take another year off ., or retire at the top.
I agree that it turned there, Trump became unbeatable after frame 5. But Selby already needed help to gain his lead before that, like bad luck on Trump's side (e.g., 13:17) and flukes (e.g, 9:45) to even get his first 3 frames, missing key shots like the blue at 12:34 (and 19:08 in frame 6). So not sure if Selby's 4:1 lead would have been any more decisive than his 3:1 lead.
