Ngl id like to see a period comedy where these two play a pair of hapless detectives trying to compete with Sherlock and Watson. There’d be a similar level of critical thinking skills on display.
I think these 5 might be great casting for something like that. Nish and Watson take the detective role, Bob is the "on-scene criminal", Sally deals with behind the scenes stuff of a criminal operation (mafia type thing) and Ashlyng is the person who helps both couples but only realises in the last act when all 4 come to her for advice.
the contrast between the actually incredible “i’m always seeing you (do cool stuff)” and the sheer unbridled chaos that is “Rosalinds a fucking nightmare” will never not be funny
The wholesome mess of Wumar contrasted with the absolute chaos of the other team really was just the best… Really made this series even more fantastic.
Look... Nish Kumar was one of my all-time favourite Taskmaster contestants because he was just so damn adorable and sweet... "...when you got that grill out I was like, 'this guy's a fuckin genius' " LOL !
I love that he was always willing to act a fool to get people to laugh more. Like when he was acting like he kicked the basketball in in one shot. Also I want to like your comment but it's currently at 69 and I don't want to change that. Because it's nice.
more like the boys sort of in the middle somewhere, who want to get it but honestly just dont, until one team project where they knock it out of the park with a cardboard model with moving parts XD
@@marycanary86 They definitely remind me much more of the mildly nerdy quartet in the middle of the class in my class. The boys in the back were mean. Those four were just oddballs who banded together.
I love the team of threes, but there's always something so wholesome about the duo-teams: Frank and Tim, Jon and Richard, Sara and Rob, Mel and Hugh, Nish and Mark, Alice and Russel, Jessica and Kerry, Joe and Sian, Jo and David, Richard and Daisy (they need couple's therapy, but they have their moments), and Lee and Mike. I love them all dearly!
I feel like they spent the whole season showing their ineptitude just to blow us out of the water with their song. Hard not to love when these two get together to do something.
The song, on the last episode of the series, I think was Nish and Marks defining moment, and the fact nothing bad was said about it and the joy from Greg, Alex and the audience made it pretty much the best way to end the series for those two, and the song was the best, considering the time they had to get the information and then compose it 😊
They were so wholesome aaa Brought a ton of heart to the show and their song (especially given how much they both sucked up to that point lol) was the perfect way to end w a bang! Easily best TM team and lowkey an underappreciated contender for best series
Series 4, 5, 7, 8 and 10 are my top 5. No particular order. Series 4 stands out because of the two psychopaths Mortimer and Phillips and this team up of Watson and Kumar. Aisling Bea was also there.
I don’t understand why Mark’s reputation is that he wasn’t a good contestant. He won 2 episodes (a quarter of the season!) and was consistently in second or first place overall through the series.
The song task has got to be one of my favourites The genuinely good performance by the underdogs immediately followed by the absolute insanity of Rosalind’s a F***ing Nightmare Incredible This is why I love Taskmaster Also Nish is definitely up there for my favourite contestants
I'm Always Seeing You (Do Cool Stuff) is a legitimate bop. I think they paired these two together because they realized it was going to be a season of solid fucking gold.
I love that in TM the team of two is so often wholesome (see these two, Joe and Sian, Jo and David, Sarah and Munya) while the team of 3 are absolutely insane (Phil, James and rhod,- Ian, Paul and Lou, - Fern, Dara and John)
I think what made them adorable, they know they’re not good at the tasks but they embrace it and having fun with it instead of throwing tantrum like a spoiled child
This was the very first Taskmaster content that I ever saw. Before that I had been actively avoiding it because it seemed rather stupid (without watching even a single ep). However after watching this I got a glimpse into the vibe of the show and here I am again, 1 year later, after watching almost every taskmaster related content available on the internet. Just wanted to say thank you for introducing me to so much happiness that I never thought I even deserved or was possible.😍😍
It was so awesome to see them absolutely crush the task about writing and performing the song after the travesty of all the other tasks throughout the series

My sole complaint about this season (it's my favourite one) is that there were only 3 team tasks, which is hard to believe given the legendary Wumar duo, but it's a shame there weren't more.
Were they friends before TM? Because I feel like they now just casually hang out on the weekends being rubbish at things and having the best time ever.
