If you have the work visa for it you can work. However the Language Assistant visa is confined to France but you can freely travel in the Schengen area

It’s good to know that so I know that when I come to reunion island, I always avoid Black people dangerous and thieves

Most of them are from the Island of Mayotte or Comoros. Not indigenous people but there is no indigenous people to the island :)

@M Hello, Yes I am from Reunion Island. Most of descendent of the french settlers lives in the highland region yes, But you have to konw they are considered creole as everyone else on the Island, we all have the same culture :) They don't have a specific way of life, they speak creole ( with an unique accent its true haha ) sorry, I don't know any website that can help you ^^ But if you have any question, I can help you ;)

My parents are from Mauritius. Mauritius and Reunion are geographically the closest pieces of land to one another, but they've always been unique entities whilst maintaining some commonalities as with all neighbours. Mauritius is an independent island nation and Reunion is an overseas department governed directly as part of France...but the two islands share very friendly relations stemming from similar histories and cultural ties

@@d3junction hey, as far as I know you would need a work permit and titre de sejour before being offered a job. You can also consult this site www.reunion.gouv.fr/motifs-imperieux-liste-des-justificatifs-a8194.html for further clarification on documentation etc. Incase you are reading this from Reunion Island and have more info please comment.
