You said embroidered eyes 17 times, 18 if you include when you said embroider eyes, and 19 if you include when you said embroidered the eyes 🤣 I was keeping track!!
I love your videos so much. Usually I'm not a big fan of just sitting and talking crochet videos, i LOOOVE watching the process etc but youuuu, you're so funny and natural and I always find myself hooked. Keep up with the good work and thank you for the inspo for my next markets
I am cracking up at all of your commentary on your videos! You got me through my morning walk at the gym and now I’m working on my own pattern while watching. Making a unicorn for a custom order. 🥰
My 4 year old daughter is obsessed with crochet videos, but she is a little bit choosy. Sometimes, she thinks they're boring. When I turned yours on, she said, "I love her and her pretty cats!" 😂
I’m new to your channel and 100% would buy a loaf cat, specifically the red and white one. And to be clear - I am a fifty year old woman who wants if for herself. The eyes are just so great, cute but a little bewildered, like a lot of cats.
I’m not crocheting but I am working on a Papermache fox mask while watching this video. I want to get into crocheting and have been working on taking masks to craft fairs, so these videos are very helpful. :)
You add fun commentary to your videos, I enjoy them. The pickle jar idea is great. Can you add a theme to them (eyebrows) and label the jar “spicy” or “hot pickles?”
Hi. I enjoyed hearing about your market. I have personally done a few markets with my mom who makes baked goods. I was crocheting Timmy the Teacup from the book Hooked on Amigurumi.
Great pattern, congrats! I've been making mini octopus keychains for my prize bin at school (I teach) and just started my first ever blanket. So used to amigurumi, so I feel like a fish out of water!
You said to let you know what we are crocheting if we are crocheting while watching this video and I just thought it was too funny that I’m using your pickle pattern to make mini pickle keychains! Lol
Thank you so much! My brother actually made those from a tree that went down in his back yard! They were originally for the centerpieces at my wedding, but I repurposed them for the market!😊
Just found you tonight. I totally need to do more embroidered eyes myself as well. Can't wait for the splooting triceratops pattern!!! I finished a variegated grey loaf kitty using Bernet blanket and now I'm doing a mint loaf kitty with Big Twist Posh.
What size big twist yarn and hook do you use for the loaf cat please? I want to try it! Thank you. ☺️. And btw, your editing and humor makes your videos stand out in the best way. Always make me smile. 😃
Hello Morgan, I like watching your videos, but I have one friendly suggestion to make. Your voice is nice to listen to and your crochet projects are adorable, but I just watched 3 of your videos in a row and I must say, they are quite repetitive. I would LOVE to see you in action, while crocheting, making things, speed up assembly of eyes etc. That would make the videos much more interesting, than just being told and shown a list of to dos or what has sold. Kinda like an actual VLOG. Maybe that's something you'd like to consider. ☺
I always loove hearing how it goes in your markets! I have just done my first one this past Sunday and I loved every minute of it! I made tiny mini turtles and they flew off the tables! I came home with only 1! I got the pattern from etsy by melscrochetedshop the Tiny turtle (the tiniest brother to her tank and titan turtle) and they are no sew!
I would never change the eyes in ready plushie, but this is bc I am a chicken (btw I would love to try making a chicken plushie). I love your videos!💜 (which is unique bc I don't like sitting-talking videos, so you are veri special🤭) And your pattern! It's sooo amazing! I am literally obsessed! (I just applied to tester call🥰)
You should ABSOLUTELY label your pattern as low-sew. That much detail and only 2 pieces to sew on is Heaven for someone like me and will get more people to buy it!
That pink dino drama is what makes me remember your channel. Hahaha.. maybe you can give sign "has been waiting for x market to be adopted" sign to the pink dino 😂 and the angry eye brow looks good on him 😅
I wonder if why your axolotls didn’t sell is because of the age range of your customers. I am over 50 & had to look them up when I first heard about them but my nieces (5 & 7) knew right away what they were! Always enjoy your videos! 💜
You didn’t sell axolotls because it was adults buying for kids. I have to explain to parents all the time why their kid wants “the lizard thing”. They have no idea what they are but the kids sure do!
Ahhh Morgan! I am so glad I was selected to pattern test for you!! Such an amazing pattern! 🫶🏻 I can’t wait to see the new items you decide to add to your markets!
Both! Parfait chunky I get online through premier and then I usually get sweet snuggles, bernat blanket, or acrylic yarn in person at Michael’s or Joann’s. If they don’t have the specific shade in stock then I’ll order it 😊
I think the axolotls didn’t sell because most people that came were older. Anytime I show an older adult my axolotls, they don’t know what it is. It is really big with kids, teens, and young adults since they became popular in 2016 and then became popular recently with the Minecraft addition.
A great no see turtle is tofu turtle by megsmakescrochet. Tofu is my best seller. Hands down. Super quick to make. Doesn’t take alot of yarn or polyfil
Love your splooting triceratops! May I ask how much you are asking for the horse? It's a beauty! I am currently rebuilding my loaf cat inventory. The one that I am working on is using Bernat Baby Blanket Pebble Dot. I made one yesterday using the Frosting version in Golden Hour. That cat is so soft and pretty.
With that cat pattern that you just modded it to make smaller after how many stitches did you start the ears and feet I have the pattern but would love to make mini of them
Can I ask you a question about the octos? I followed the RU-vid video and made one tonight. I use number six weight Bernat with a 7 hook. The stitches were coming out with the right numbers, but when I went around, I only got six tentacles.😂. Do you have to adjust stitches when you change sizes?
Hi! It should be the same number of stitches regardless of yarn/hook! For the tentacles, do two slip stitches and then make the tentacle. That should give you eight when you’re done. Hope this helps!😊
@@Pocketsnuggies so you slip stitch twice in the side of the body itself, then you make the tentacle by chaining and crocheting back down it. Once you’ve finished the tentacle, you slip stitch 2 again to create space between the tentacles!
@@allezcrochet okay. Interesting. She seemed to go right into the next front loop after the tentacle. I’ll remove my tentacles and try again. Appreciate your help. I’m obsessed with crocheting now. Even though I suck at it 🤣. I know you use parfait. Do you use 6.5 with it for these, too? Is that your standard for plushies?
Your cats are awesome. PLEASE HELP, my loaf cat’s face and butts don’t come out smooth. What am I doing wrong? My first one had color change in there so then my second one I kept one color and it still happened???? #pulling my hair out!!!!
I like your videos keep them coming :) ALSO , Refinedvibes on RU-vid in her last video or two mentioned a great no sew turtle that is doing well at markets and is worked up really quickly! How much do you sell your turtles for? I currently have my strawberry turtle at 40 in person and 45 online. They are a lot of work and I am trying to gage if that is too low or too high. @Allez
Love this video so much! Those cat loafs sell so well 👀 that's crazy! And I recently found an amazing no sew turtle pattern that I think you will LOVE 😊💕 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-prB6KlkcGTk.htmlsi=yGYUVqaIb_xhGbJi (I was so excited to share that turtle video with you, that I haven't quite finished your video. But I'm super interested in your tester call 👀 just gotta finish watching to see how to apply 😅) Edit** heading over to Instagram!
