Hi Phil I have noticed how your subscribers don’t go up very fast and I do wonder why? So far you this video has over 400 views but only 81 likes, do people know that it helps you when people subscribe like and share? My wife and I will be helping you with your coal soon, if everyone gave a pound for the pleasure of watching your videos you would be ok for the winter.

Sharing and liking etc works indirectly. RU-vid monitors ALL interactions from viewers and the more "activity" there is on a video the more likely it will be to promote the video and suggest it to others. This increased viewing boosts advertising revenue.

Very true, but it's a numbers game, not everyone blocks ads. The more views, the better the chances of getting some ad revenue.

that is why people should let the add run so the producer can get some revenue in for all the work they put into making the videos. At the end of the day you tube is free to watch so what harm does it do to let a advert run

Most of my videos make less than £5 from advertising, which is very poor considering each video takes about a days work to make. I can't survive on that, hence the Patreon page.

Great to hear from you again Phil. We stopped on visitor mooring at Market Drayton. Had very nice time. Like most vlogers I guess editing episodes takes a long time. UFOs have not gone home yet I see. Keep safe Phil.

I shall keep moving - I have to, but my range will be limited due to various closures etc. I've got many more videos recorded and awaiting editing so I will be as active as my batteries allow.
