The US is experiencing the devaluation of the dollar. Devaluation of currency leads to higher commodity prices- like food. Devaluation also makes stocks appear much more valuable. In reality- if the stocks where traded into cash, the cash itself would continue to lose value.

Well, what makes me an outlier I guess! I am 57 year-old English immigrant, with zero interest in tech or stocks, and yet I am 110% committed to Bitcoin. I would describe myself as an extreme conservative/libertarian. I have been involved in UK politics for some time, and the main thing that drove me to study Bitcoin and ultimately recognise its value to Humanity was the threat posed by an over-weening government, first in the UK and lately in the US also. I regard the CBDC as the final brick in the wall of the totalitarian prison the world's governments are building for us. Mainly things necessary to life and biz. Military manufactures will be last cut, etc. If these fail it is all over for really the whole world; revolutions, war, anarchy. Maybe a whole new system

Neil Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Sonia

Time is the most important factor in determining market movements and by studying past price records you will be able to prove to yourself history does repeat and by knowing the past you can tell the future. There is a definite relation between price and time. By studying time cycles and time periods you will learn why market tops and bottoms are found at certain times, and why resistance levels are so strong at certain times, and prices hold around them. The most gain is made when fast moves and extreme fluctuations occur at the end of major cycles.... I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 180k to a decent 632k... I'm especially grateful to Milton Harper, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

I don.t really know your risk tolerance or asset allocation, sounds like just bad stock picking. Also unclear if the advisor is providing any other value via financial planning or other decision making. But likely scenario is just bad stock picks. Index funds, Etfs and chill.

Question, what is the general consensus as to what will happen to the share price of TLT if the broad equity market rolls over and drops 20%? If the general consensus is for additional future rate cuts, can we still expect to make a gain during a falling equity market? The threat that's been in the wings for a while is deflation. Politicians will never say that word. It scares the hell out of them. Keeping a steady hand on monetary policy is always tricky. Cutting interest rates are wind on Kamal Harris back? Take a look at the history. Soon after the FED starts cutting rates the market falls, because the act itself signals to the market that the economy is faltering. The cuts will have 0 effect in the next 2 months. Powell left rates high for nearly 2 years and only recently have the effects been felt.

Interesting how over 2% inflation has been a concern when central banks and the Fed begin to hike interest rates. I consider the rising interest rate to be a very serious issue since it will undoubtedly cause more investors to withdraw their money from the stock market. But then I'm still aware of certain investors that continue to earn over $365,000. Wish I could accomplish that.
