I choose to sign up for easier markets right now since I’m just starting out selling. * as long as I pay the fee and follow their guidelines, I can show up with only providing them my business name and what I sell. To find these markets. Honestly, I go on Facebook events and look through all of the vendor requirements to see if it’ll be a good fit for me or not .Other markets require every vendor to pay for insurance which can cost up to $300 a year. Those insurance required markets also have a jury. Typically the jury is where you have to submit multiple photos of your products and specific display setups, write a paragraph about what you’re selling, pay them the fee and they get to choose if they want you there or not. I haven’t gone through the jury process yet, but at least that’s how it’s been looking in South Florida when I go to apply for markets . The good thing about being at a jury show is they typically will make sure there is not an abundance of each craft, the downside is, they’re pretty picky about your display looks like. When people buy plushies, I have a thank you card, a business card and clear bags from Amazon that I give everybody. I have small, medium and large clear bags, and when they walk around the market, other people can see what’s in their bag which can help promote sales as well🙏🏼 The bags are in the link in the description of the video now 😊😊 and good luck if you start selling I hope you do well!!
