So glad to find your review of the Dreamland yarn. I have picked this up and put it back down at my JoAnn store sooo many times. Shouldn't it be a law that variegated yarn has to have a display of what it looks like when it's worked up? I'd vote YES on that, lol. I tend to shy away from variegated yarns for that exact reason. I like what it looks like on the skein, but once I start working with it, I don't like it. Appreciate your insight on these and seeing your projects made with them - thank you!

The dreamland yarn looks really nice made up into the turtle and dino but it is $19 or $28 AUD I'm looking forward to seeing your market prep and market day

Not sure if that's high or relative to other yarns in AUD? But it was 25% off 11.99 usd at JoAnn today. So comparable to Bernat blanket. Market was good. Hopefully I'll get to upload tomorrow evening! Thanks for asking. ❤️

I just bought some dreamland to try out! I’ve resisted a premier order for the moment, not sure I love the gumdrop coloring? Great video, thanks for sharing!

The gumdrop I don't think changes fast enough for me. If you see my last lunch break make SHORT on here. I started a new cake and it changed in the very end ruffle of the fish. Which was fine with me. Just would've been nice to have had a stripe or two lol

Have you tried the copper infused, fingerless gloves? Tiffany from Daisy Farm Crafts wears them and says they help a lot. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh man, I have 4 chronic illnesses. My hands and wrists will flare and my fingers swell so much they feel like they’re gunna pop. I got a little ring to help with tension so I’m gunna try it today. I’ll let you know if it helps at all with holding the yarn and pain :) amazing job on the plushies

I use an hourly wage I'm comfortable with, time my items and add a little to cover materials. Hope that helps! ❤️❤️

I believe they are different sizes. I think one I used 23mm and one I used 28mm from AliExpress

Hi Stacy,when you sell your makes do you have to have them safety tested, also do you have to have insurance ?

Hey! In the US the CPSC doesn't require testing for handmade small batch manufacturers. You are required to keep details on material compliance. Not an expert here but if needed, I could acquire certificates from the yarn producers and safety eye manufacturers saying their materials are compliant. As far as insurance I operate under a sole proprietary and DBA. My home liability covers certain personal liability but you can also purchase liability insurance separately to cover more if desired. This can vary by state and insurance company so if talk to your insurance company.
