Cytonn MMF is intact...Kenyans jumb into investments without financial literacy just because they have been promised high interests ...Cytonn is a Real Estate company and not a Money market Company its only that they included MMF in their instruments....Cytonn pulls money from investors and invests it in real estate in diverse landscapes like apartments and office suites and such a market does not guarantee liquidity especially when we have massive withdrawals..In Covid everyone is withdrawing funds from CHYS which invests in real estate and you think to get It all back? By normal situation, investments done should provide liquidity at a normal rate not when it's all pressure and everybody exits ...Just show me one Cytonn MMF client who has ever lost money because its a fund that is regulated and has standby liquidity...CPN notes and Cytonn High Yield Solutions are private products and are not regulated and are liable to underlying company conditions and such circumstances such as company liquidation after closure or pandemic happen and risks are what people refer to as loosing funds thank God Cytonn is still kicking and alive after effects of.
