$39k for that Bristol is an absolute steal. Anyone who's driven one or looked closely at one will know why. Hand built by an Aircraft manufacturer these cars were slippery as hell, and very fast in their day (still capable of cruising at 80mph+). The chassis was tubular steel lightweight construction with a hand formed aluminium body. The engine was based on the BMW straight six of the day (part of war reparations), and the gearbox had a freewheeling 1st gear. Makes a wonderful noise and great fun to drive even today.
