Fantastic video Wade! I outline the Master Pattern everyday in my trading journal, especially when it unfolds as a "no brainer". In the last 10 trading days it has unfolded minimum 6 days where it was "101 Level/no brainer" clear IMO (ES=F Futures Trader). Meaning it required little to no thought to outline the pattern and it was slapping you in the face.. Thanks for your powerful contributions. This Master Class series is so well done in providing useful content in a brief hard hitting format. I watch every one within a few hours of release.
I watched a move of such developing in the Crude Oil market culminating in in a near 400 pip crash on Thursday immediately followed by an equal and opposite recovery Friday. The market has been heading down consistently on the macro for some time, while pundits have been making noises about a return to a $100 + per barrel price and as high as $140 in some cases. As a result and although price was moving to the down side, trader sentiment reached 89% long. It was only a matter of time before an event would happen, which it did. I did trade the beginning of the move and got out when price hit back down to value. I didn't get the big move, but thanks to ATS knowledge I was able to predict and witness an 'unexpected' drop in the market. Thank you once again for your insights and support.
I began to understand the buy cheap inventory and sell for higher like a business would, I wasn't sure how to quantify what regular value was. I think what you are explaining here is a great example of finding value based on what market makers are doing and the structure the trade around that. Great idea.
The retail trader "the markets are rigged" the banks "we are just trying to get our big orders filled so we need to drive prices to where the liquidity is" Either way this is how it works. Great video.
Great video again sir. Love the analyses and thought processes. Never really thought of the markets as “rigged” myself, more that retail behavior is overwhelmingly predictable so an institution/MM is able to encourage liquidity to the unaware, but thats the same thing that happens all across capitalism. Retail doesn’t understand this is an auction, just like a used car lot where the inventory is bought at discount and resold higher. You are so correct… it js a game and as professional speculators, it is our job tk observe. Thats literally what to speculate means… and then we play where it is to our advantage. Should I trade in the month of December with the master pattern because there’s a lot of traders that are saying we shouldn’t trade
Glad the strategy has helped you! As far as trading in December, I would only say to avoid the last week. Other than that there can still be movement to take advantage of. I also would say, there is nothing wrong with taking the month off if you just want a break from the screen. That is a good option too.
the trade ats system is literally based deleting your indicators they pollute your screen. If you are after their software i think it costs a few 100 dollars. if you dont have that kind of money to spend then go back to the master pattern videos and do some studying. Its all free and shows you exactly how to do what the software does for free. If you dont practice doing it yourself the software wont be of much use to you anyways.
Ahhhm as long as money is being made or lost yes All markets are manipulated. Without them there are NO markets. Let's be honest no stops or moving stops versus hard stops will fall to black swan events or liquidity clear out.
Before you start, I'd recommend consuming the knowledge you'll need from ATS back catalogue of videos here. Especially the 2022 master pattern edition which is fundamental. Experiment with multiple broker platforms online till you find one you feel works for you. Most have practice platforms available for free with no time limit. The rest will come with time. Generally several years of hard work & practice before you start bringing in consistent profits. Hope that's helpful to you.
