Such awesome tips!! I am so interested in doing a market and need to start prepping. I'm excited for the challenge next week!! And crochet ladybugs do exist!! I just released a ladybug pattern in my Etsy!!
This is very helpful! I have found this to be the case with items out of other more expensive materials such as wood as well. Most people seem reluctant to spend north of 50€ on markets.. even if you are using expensive materials and your crafting skills are up there. For 50€+ you need to enter more specialized events or roam around in rich areas. Most people simply can't justify dropping 50€+ randomly on a market item, those are more planned purchases. You need to know your target audience and figure out where they do their shopping. Usually not on regular markets.. if it's a 200€ item. Great content Camryn!
I absolutely agree with everything you said! I'll add, though, that it could be beneficial to have a couple higher priced items on display. Even knowing no one might purchase, them they do (from the perspective of the customer) add a sense of legitimacy and status to a business!
Your videos are so helpful. I’m starting to do my first markets this year and this is really helping me to know what’s best to make and roughly how much x
So informative. I’ve been prepping for a few weeks now for my first market which is next week and I already have sizes newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-12 months 😬 that’s how I always did with my Etsy shop. I’ll try the different sizing in my next market. 😎
Im so confused im literaly making a google doc with the titles wearable usable and Giftable, if the dont fit and im not happy to get £30 or less for them they get put on the back burner until one of the other products flop.😅
