Nice conversation with a take away of 1) not to invest in unsustainable businesses 2) not invest in overvalued stocks , even if business is sustainable and 3 ) to have the discipline of staying the time tested course of principles of investing. Thanks Forbes.
Mr.Jain as you say not to buy overvalued stocks, but how do you make out whether a very good stock of a very good company is overvalued... As it is very likely if we are going to hold the stock of the company for the next 10 yrs......??
Never gave a single interview all those years when he was at HDFC AMC. Rode on the bank's brand. Now that he started on his own, he is all over the place. It's just a marketing stunt for raising funds for his AIF. His investors are not retail, so all he is doing is wasting his time.
