Don't give up on the markets. Location is key, you're still learning a lot by getting experience. The more you the better you'll get and you'll be able to know better which events you want to be a part of and know when theyre happening so you can try for them. Keep going! Maybe more local markets. I know like Smyrna vinnings area usually has something every few months on the green during spring - fall and its always busy. Lots of venders of all types... and yeah there is the music 😂😂😂 or maybe Piedmont Park or Grant Park or even Atlantic Station.

I completely understand… I think its just the events.. I told myself I was going to just visit the craft fairs I want to participate in first and if the traffic is good I will participate next year

The Christmas event will probably do way better because people generally are in a spending spirit. Also to your point, maybe the people at the previous market were not the target market. On the upside, you are starting to pick up a pattern on what works and doesn't where market events are concerned(skin in the game). Plus you met some cool people. ⭐

Don’t give up. It’s all about location. I attended one today myself and it wasn’t great at all. The Christmas one I did turned out great but the last 2 I attended was horrible but I’m a believer in keep trying else where

Don't lose hope and remember the numerous benefits of participating in markets. Concentrate on building your brand awareness, attracting more people to learn about you, how to reach you, and engage with you. Before committing to any vendors, inquire about the expected foot traffic or usual attendance numbers at the event. If it's a new event with uncertain attendance, it may not be the best use of your time. While this particular market may not have been successful, remember that each experience adds to your knowledge and expertise. Your message is valuable and worth sharing, so keep spreading the word. 🙏🏾

I haven't had great luck picking events this year. Hoping that my go to events in the fall are MUCH better because, so far this year, events have not been great. I hope you have better luck with the next one!

I was at that market too. I was outside and that was one of the worst I’ve done but I kind of expected it based on my experience with vending. It was my first with this organizer. It’s not my typical kind of market but I wanted to check it out and I paid very little since I was outside. I feel like it’s more a networking thing, and also markets where people actually show up to the market to shop are the best. That event it’s a slow day, it was hot and most of the people who went, went to eat and probably only will spend small amounts impulsively. Conventions are really the best but you have to be sure it’s your market. If you know your audience I would say try to find niche event like you mentioned. Church events, or general markets or festivals.

A little advice, wear your merch. You're the biggest piece, most persuasive kind of advertisement that you can bring to a market Typically the items that you wear will do the best bc you're a live model!.
